Sr. Treasury Analyst - Investments Reporting and Accounting

The Sr. Treasury Analyst is responsible for investment analysis, preparation of investment reports, investment accounting, and budget analysis for investments.
- Analyzes investment investment performance and prepares projections and budgets for investment income.
- Prepares comprehensive reports on investment portfolios for executive Investment Committee and board of directors Finance Committee.
- Manages relationships with external investment managers.
- Ensures accuracy of all investment transactions and balances in the electronic book of record as well as Oracle GL.
- Ensures compliance with GAAP and statutory insurance requirements.
- Manages all aspects of accounting and reconciliations for investments and banking services.
- 5+ years of experience.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or related area or equivalent education, training or experience.
- Strong knowledge of fixed-income securities, equities, alternative investments, investment risk / performance analysis, and investment accounting.
- Experience in managing and accounting for fixed-income investment portfolios.
- Ability to develop and maintain analytical models in Excel including models for cash forecasting, investment portfolio performance, budgeting, and expense analysis.
- Strong financial analysis and treasury accounting skills.
- Experience implementing and using investment accounting platforms such as Blackrock Aladdin and Clearwater Analytics.
- Strong communication skills including effective written, oral and presentation.
- Ability to solve problems creatively, offering alternative solutions as appropriate.
- Excellent time and resource management abilities.
- Experience in health care insurance industry issues.
Licenses
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) Pref
Certified Treasury Professional (CTP)-AFP. Pref'
Master of Business Administration (MBA). Pref'
Base Pay Information
The national base pay range at the end is a good-faith estimate of what Delta Dental may pay for new hires. Actual pay may vary based on Delta Dental’s assessment of the candidate’s knowledge, skills, abilities (KSAs), related experience, education, certifications and ability to meet required minimum job qualifications. Other factors impacting pay include prevailing wages in the work location and internal equity.
Pay Grade 19. $63,700 - $133,500
