About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Back-End engineer to be part of the core Falcon For IT product group. In this role, you will be part of the cloud engineering team, responsible for the heart of the Falcon For IT module, working closely with other teams such as UI and Sensor.
About the Product:
Falcon For IT is our newest product release which helps IT & Security teams to get answers to the most difficult questions about their infrastructure, apps and endpoints, utilizing our Charlotte AI to ease usability and speedup response and remediation of issues. The product is a cloud based solution allowing customers to query their entire endpoints to address IT challenges working in synergy with our Sensor, which is a driver installed on client machines that observes system activity and apps, recognizes malicious behavior, then provides on-box prevention capability and remote telemetry to the cloud.
What You'll Do:
You will be joining the Falcon For IT team that delivers an IT Automation module, built on top of the Falcon platform to help customers query and manage their endpoints across the globe.
You will work with an experienced team made up of best in class distributed system engineers, at one of the most innovative and exciting cybersecurity companies in the world. If you enjoy being part of a strong engineering team and working across a versatile technology stack, this job is for you.
In this role, you will take part and soon lead initiatives on the cloud-side (backend) of the solution that is responsible for orchestrating a significant volume of endpoint query and remediation tasks as well as adding new types of tasks as the module expands in functionality. This work is both challenging and rewarding in nature.
You will be responsible for leading discovery, design, and delivery phases of cloud-based solutions maintaining high engineering practices, standards and quality while working on cutting-edge technologies.

What You’ll Need:
Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience.
Experience in programming, with proficiency in at least one object-oriented programming language, featuring strong types: Golang (preferred), Java, Python, C#, etc.. .
Proficiency with common algorithms, data structures, reusable code design principals and constructs.
Strong interpersonal skills, an ability to structure your own work and become a strong contributor in a remote-first global team.
An eye for software quality and best practices including in automation, CICD, testing…
5+ years of industry experience building large scale solutions leveraging microservices, asynchronous architectures, resilient design principals, and big/NoSQL data technologies such as Elastic/Open Search, Cassandra, etc..
Experience developing and consuming RESTful API web services
Ability to work in a collaborative cross-functional team environment.
