As a Network Automation and Security Contractor with Insight, you’ll enhance our network infrastructure and support network security initiatives, particularly in factory segmentation projects. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement automated network solutions while contributing to critical network security efforts to protect our assets.
This role is within our Residency Offering, which is a solution that provides strategic technical resources to our customers on a contractual basis.

As a Network Automation and Security Contractor you’ll get to:

Enhance our network infrastructure and support network security initiatives, particularly in factory segmentation projects.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement automated network solutions while contributing to critical network security efforts to protect our assets.
Network Automation:
- Design and implement automated network solutions to improve efficiency and reliability.
- Develop scripts and tools for streamlined network configuration, monitoring, and management.
- Collaborate with IT and operational teams for seamless integration of automation tools such as Terraform, Nautobot, Ansible.
Network Security Projects:
- Assist in the development and implementation of network security measures for factory segmentation.
- Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability analyses to identify and mitigate security threats.
- Collaborate with network security teams to design and enforce security policies and procedures.
Monitoring and Reporting:
- Utilize monitoring tools to ensure network performance and security compliance.
- Generate reports on network health, automation effectiveness, and security posture.

Documentation and Training:
- Create and maintain documentation for network automation processes and network security protocols.
- Provide training and support to team members on network automation tools and security best practices.

Continuous Improvement:
- Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in network automation and security.
- Propose enhancements to current processes to improve security and efficiency.
What you will need to succeed:
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, CompTIA Security+, Certified Ethical Hacker).
- Understanding of cloud networking and security best practices.
- Proven experience in network automation (e.g., using Python, Ansible, or similar tools).
- Familiarity with network security principles and practices, particularly in industrial environments.
- Knowledge of network protocols, firewall configurations, and segmentation techniques.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
