About the RoleThe Sr. Salesforce CPQ Specialist will serve as a trusted advisor to the business, driving solutions that promote product modeling and pricing best practices with other system architects, business/technical subject matter experts. This role includes analyzing business processes and business systems for inefficiencies, providing hands-on technical leadership to develop scalable Salesforce CPQ solutions. Reporting to the Director of Revenue Technology within the Revenue Strategy and Operations organization, this role focuses on technical product architecture and development, supporting the GTM strategy through system administration, infrastructure, and security.

Your expertise lies in systems, process design and implementation while working closely with business stakeholders to build robust, scalable, and flexible solution architectures. You excel in designing prototypes, building proof of concepts, and creating architecture roadmaps. With a breadth and depth of CPQ experience and best practices, you lead solution design, development, and management of Salesforce CPQ systems. You demonstrate the ability to partner across all levels of the organization, drive results, resolve problems, and make strategic decisions, facilitating organizational change and adaptation.
What You'll Do
- Stakeholder Management
- Collaborate with sales, finance, and operations teams to gather requirements and align with business objectives.
- Understand and implement product pricing methods within Quote-to-Cash processes.
- Provide functional support for billing processes, enhancing efficiency and automation.
- Recommend improvements to systems and processes to enhance efficiency and automation.
- Technical Leadership, Solution Architecture, and Process Improvement
- Design, prototype, build, and support Salesforce CPQ/Steelbrick solutions.
- Lead technical design sessions, create user stories, and develop aligned technical documentation.
- Translate business requirements into system functionality and configure Salesforce CPQ features (e.g., Product Bundles, Quote Templates, Price Rules, and Approval Processes).
- Project and Change Management
- Drive integration solution lifecycles from conception to post-launch support.
- Conduct needs analysis to minimize revisions and ensure alignment with business needs.
- Support change management activities for program rollouts in collaboration with Operations, Enablement, and other teams.
- Quality Assurance and Testing
- Ensure Salesforce CPQ solutions meet quality standards through functional, regression, and user acceptance testing.
- Support monthly close processes to ensure timely delivery of quotes and orders.
- Create and maintain detailed technical documentation based on design specifications.
Your Background
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, MIS, or a related discipline.
- 6+ years of hands-on technical experience in Quote to Cash processes, including at least 2, full Salesforce CPQ implementation and development knowledge (JS, APEX, and VisualForce).
- Salesforce.com certifications (Administrator, Advanced Administrator, CPQ Specialist).
- Proficient in Salesforce Data Loader, Workbench and Excel for data analysis and quality initiatives.
- Detail-oriented, organized, self-motivated team player with strong interpersonal skills.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills, including experience with senior leadership engagements.
This position is available either in-office or remote, as applicable, at the following locations:

The above represents the total expected compensation for this role. Actual compensation will depend on various job-related factors, including, but not limited to, location, experience, and job qualifications.
