Sr. Product Marketing Manager

HashiCorp is seeking a Senior Product Marketing Manager to join the Secure Lifecycle Management product marketing team to lead go-to-market initiatives for HCP Vault Radar. HCP Vault Radar is the newest product in the HashiCorp product portfolio focused on helping DevOps and security teams tackle the risk of secret exposure by detecting unmanaged and leaked secrets.
This role includes collaboration with marketing, sales, and senior leadership from R&D to ensure the message is right, creation of the foundational assets that bring this story to life, steadfast leadership and evangelism to inspire adoption in all appropriate channels, and data-driven inspection and course correction as needed to meet your targets.
What you'll do
- Product launches — plan the launch of new products and releases and manage the cross-functional implementation of the plan
- Product positioning and messaging — Develop and iterate positioning and messaging anchored on customer aspirations, product truth, and competitive reality for Radar and the Secure Lifecycle Management portfolio.
- Market research — Be an expert on our buyers, how they buy, and their buying criteria; understand the market landscape and how to position the product competitively. Serve as the voice of the customer to the internal product-focused teams to reinforce solving customer challenges.
- Marketing campaigns — Partner with the demand generation team to create the infrastructure campaigns for the company to generate interest in our solutions and build pipeline.
- Content creation — Use your domain knowledge, technical expertise, and understanding of our target personas to build the content that best explains the business value of our commercial offerings.
- Sales enablement — Create and maintain content to educate our sales team and the partner community on how best to position the HashiCorp’s infrastructure portfolio for long-term value creation.
- Cross-team collaboration — Work with the product, engineering, sales, and marketing teams to ensure your initiatives are effective and driving results for the company.
What you’ll need
- 5-8 years of software product marketing experience
- Familiarity with the cloud, infrastructure, security, IT operations, and/or developer tool domains
- Deep customer focus and curiosity
- Self-starter with the ability to analyze ambiguous situations, develop a plan, execute and iterate
- Proven history of successful collaboration with Marketing, Sales, and R&D teams
- Excellent analytical, written, and verbal skills
- Strong leadership skills
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Some travel required

Individual pay within the range will be determined based on job related-factors such as skills, experience, and education or training.
The base pay range for this role in the SF Bay Area / NYC area is:$178,500—$210,000 USDThe base pay range for this role in Seattle Metro, Denver / Boulder Metro, New York (excluding NYC), Washington D.C., or California (excluding SF Bay Area) is:$163,600—$192,500 USDThe base pay range for this role in Colorado (excluding Denver / Boulder Metro) and Washington (excluding Seattle Metro) is:$148,800—$175,000 USD ApplyJob Profile
