As a Sr. Procurement Analyst at Vanta, you will support the procurement function by working as a trusted partner to our internal clients to increase spend under management, standardizing and improving processes, and implementing strategic sourcing strategies that deliver tangible value to the business.

What you’ll do as a Sr. Procurement Analyst at Vanta:

  • Own SaaS procurement strategy and support implementations of digital tools as needed in partnership with the Strategic Sourcing Manager

  • Negotiate, source, and assist business partners with vendor engagements. Manage contracts and license agreements to ensure that obligations are met and the process for tracking renewals or replacement of existing agreements is managed and scalable

  • Partner with internal stakeholders to meet their purchasing needs while prioritizing ROI, cost efficiency, and value

  • Strategize and improve Procurement policies and operating procedures for different orgs based on their process needs

  • Create winning outcomes for internal stakeholders and vendors to create long-term partnerships

  • Tap into a deep base of historical prices and network to drive competitive pricing while balancing facilitating long, positive and mutually beneficial relationships with our vendors

  • Assist in managing procurement for marketing, real estate, cloud, and professional services spend

How to be successful in this role:

  • Proactive, deeply curious personality

  • Have 5-10 years of experience in similar SaaS-focused roles, demonstrating increasing levels of responsibility

  • Possess strong understanding of third party risk processes, full cycle vendor management, source to pay processes, systems and controls

  • Demonstrated experience in delivering highly effective, operationally excellent, scalable programs and processes in growth-stage startup companies

  • Experience working in fast-paced environments while strategizing to fix complex issues

To provide greater transparency to candidates, we share base pay ranges for all US-based job postings regardless of state. We set standard base pay ranges for all roles based on function, level, and country location, benchmarked against similar-stage growth companies. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors, including candidate location, skills, depth of work experience, and relevant licenses/credentials, and may vary from the amounts listed below. The salary or OTE range for this position is $132,000 - $155,000. This role may also be eligible for commissions/bonus, equity, medical benefits, 401(k) plan, and other company perk programs.
