The Kinetic Group is a world leader in the design, manufacture, and distribution of small caliber ammunition under the iconic brands; CCI, Federal Premium, Hevi-Shot, Remington and Speer.  We have domestic ammunition manufacturing facilities in Minnesota, Idaho, Arkansas, and Oregon with our headquarters in Anoka MN.  We proudly serve law enforcement, government agencies and sporting enthusiasts throughout the world.

We are seeking a Senior National Account Manager to join the sales team in support of strategic national accounts. The position is responsible for the sale of multiple company brands products and/or services to their respective customer base.

This position reports to the Sr. Director of Sales and allows you the flexibility to work from your home office, based out of Springfield, Missouri.   

What you’ll do:

  • Develop and maintain relationships with existing and potential customers to drive sales growth, aligned with TKG strategic initiatives
  • Meet established objectives relative to increased sales volume at assigned accounts. Assist in developing long-range strategies designed to meet objectives.
  • Analyze existing and anticipated customer requirements and promote company products and services to fill such requirements.
  • Participate in the preparation of sales plans and campaigns, business plans, and product development plans.
  • Work with accounts to forecast quarterly business and communicate those to the internal TKG production planning team.
  • Track shipments and production plans to ensure customer go to market strategies operate smoothly (POG in stocks, ad spots, end caps etc)
  • Arrange and develop planograms, store sets, ad plans and assortments
  • Provide customer feedback to sales management and participate in the development of sales forecasts and strategies.
  • Develop and present programs and promotional ideas to management for sales growth on brands and product categories.
  • Respond to customer questions and issues to ensure issues are satisfactorily resolved.
  • Maintain a well-informed knowledge of competitors' activities throughout the assigned territory.
  • Inform Sales Management of any changing competitive pricing programs or marketing directions.
  • Attends as required, and actively contributes to sales meetings, training programs, trade shows, shoots, and other activities as assigned by manager.
  • Maintains accurate and up to date records relating to sales performance, planning, account information, business expenditures, etc., as required by established procedures, or as otherwise requested. Operate within defined expense budget.
  • Performs other related duties including special projects as the need is apparent or as assigned

Experience you bring:

  • 5+ years sales experience in the outdoor products industry; national or chain accounts
  • Experience in the hunting, shooting or sporting goods industry
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Office, Excel and spread sheet analytics
  • Proficiency data analytics to identify sales trends and opportunities
  • Proficiency in DOMO preferred
  • Long and short term analytical skills including problem analysis and risk analysis/mitigation planning
  • Sound leadership, communication and business math skills
  • Ability to work independently with little supervision
  • Willingness to travel up to 50%

Pay Range:

$109,100.00 - $152,700.00

The actual annual salary offered to a candidate will be based on variables including experience, geographic location, education, and skills/achievements, and will be mutually agreed upon at the time of offer.
