Are you ready to take the lead in supplier management and procurement, and ensure seamless communication of critical customer requirements? Collins Aerospace is seeking a dynamic and skilled Sr. Manager, Supply Chain Management, to own the supplier management process and non-product procurement for the Mission Systems business unit.

As Sr. Manager, you will lead a team of 10+ procurement professionals, and you'll be the key liaison to our internal customers and suppliers, ensuring that all non-product material and service objectives are met with precision – from service specifications to cost and schedule adherence. Your extensive expertise in procurement, contracts, service level agreements, logistics, supplier management, and financial execution will be crucial in this role.

Remote: Employees who are working in Remote roles will work primarily offsite (from home). An employee may be expected to travel to the site location as needed.

*Position is remote; however, if you live within a reasonable commute of a Collins site with other colleagues you interact with, your manager will discuss whether there is a degree of onsite presence associated with this role.

What You Will Do:

  • Lead a team of 10+ procurement professionals
  • Successfully manage the performance of the non-product supply base
  • Streamline procurement processes, remove barriers, and support internal customer requirements
  • Act as a valued business partner to provide solutions, alternative approaches, and reduced cost impacts to the business
  • Lead cross-functional problem resolution
  • Negotiate with suppliers to achieve the best possible outcome for the business
  • Track, report, and present to executive leadership on projects, team metrics, etc.
  • Develop strategies to improve tactical performance
  • Provide Supply Chain support for Accounts Payable
  • Establish Risk and Opportunities and Mitigation plans   
  • Travel as needed to site locations up 15%

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 14 years of relevant experience
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required ; U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance. Must be able to obtain Secret clearance within one year of start date.
  • Experience with supply chain, procurement, and leading a team
  • Experience with Supplier management and/or Subcontract management
  • Developing & executing Risk/Opportunity plans to meet business objectives

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • Experience with SAP/PRISM and the Supply Chain suite of tools
  • Experience with supporting multiple locations at once
  • Experience with developing and analyzing performance metrics as well as experience proactively addressing associated functional issues
  • Knowledge of US Government acquisition laws and regulations

The salary range for this role is 118,000 USD - 246,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
