RTX has an opening for a Sr. Manager, ERP Analyst - Engineering Systems Liaison (Sr. Manager, Business Systems and Transformation).

Are you interested in playing a key role in defining the future of Aerospace and Defense?  If so, we are hiring an ERP Business Analyst - Plan to Sustain, Engineering Systems Liaison to help drive our oneRTX: Process & Systems Transformation program.

The oneRTX: Process & Systems Transformation Program will harmonize key business processes, associated tools, metrics, and reporting across the company, enabling the migration of capabilities into standardized ERP systems. RTX has chosen SAP’s S/4HANA to enable our future ERP system and has largely concluded the strategic definition and design phase and is now entering the initial blueprinting, build and support phases.

  

The Engineering Systems Liaison – is responsible for the successful delivery within each phase of the program:

  • Blueprint – detailed design for processes, utilizing best practices and maximizing process harmonization opportunities; evaluation of gaps and making scope decisions.
  • Build – collaborate with an integrated team of external resources and internal RTX team members in the configuration and development of system capabilities.
  • Testing – support the creation and execution of test scenarios and scripts; work alongside business leaders and testers to ensure proper functionality and defect resolution.
  • Cutover & Hypercare – support successful migration from legacy systems to new environments. Support go-live and the continuation of RTX business’ financial and operational performance.

You are the ideal candidate if you have experience working within an organization that is responsible for driving large scale, complex programs and projects related to business process and system transformation, ideally Product Lifecycle (PLM) Management and Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) integrations with SAP’s S/4HANA solution.

What You Will Do:

  • Collaborate with engineering teams, process teams and digital team members acting as a liaison to drive global governance, process sustainment, data commonality and tool selection, while staying aligned to the desired RTX operating model and industry best practices.
  • Understand S/4HANA Master Data Governance (MDG), production planning, execution and quality as it relates to PLM and MES integration applications.
  • Ensure end-to-end traceability of materials from design to manufacturing following regulatory and compliance standards.
  • Support the creation of new and innovative solutions to support digital and business strategies and common design aspirations.
  • Document common solutions, including configuration documents, process flows and data policies.
  • Deliver functional specifications for enhancements, integrations and workflows related to the PLM, MES and S/4HANA integration points.
  • Mentor less experienced team members in specific areas of the Plan to Sustain business process hierarchy.
  • Ensure that RTX is positioned for future success within all functional areas of Plan to Sustain.
  • Travel: 15% - 20% domestically

Qualifications You Must Have:​

  • Minimum of 10+ years’ experience in PLM and MES arenas and a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) or equivalent combination of related work experience and schooling in lieu of degree; Advanced degree and 8+ years’ related work experience.
  • Hands-On Experience with Engineering BOMs (EBOMs), Manufacturing BOMs (MBOMs), Shop Floor Routings and As-Design to As-Built configuration.
  • Shop Floor Management with discrete manufacturing & repetitive manufacturing experience in production execution and quality management including Make-to-Order (MTO), Make-to-Stock (MTS) and GPD (Group Pegging Distribution) / PMMO (Project Manufacturing Management and Optimization).
  • Current U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract

Preferred Qualifications:​

  • Collaboration experience with engineering and process teams to integrate PLM and MES systems with ECC or S/HANA experience.  iBase-t Solumina, S/4HANA PEO (Production Engineering and Operations) and DM (Digital Manufacturing) experience is a plus.
  • Smart factory integrations
  • Experience with agile frameworks/iterative approaches to software development and implementation projects​.
  • Familiarity with financial regulations, controls, and security measures. Experience implementing and maintaining compliance standards.

The salary range for this role is 124,000 USD - 250,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
