The Role
Architects & develops automation to deliver IAC & CICD functionality in a Multi-Cloud environment. Additionally, this role will work in an SRE capacity to help both development teams and infrastructure operations deliver functionality.
Location
This role is designated as a fully remote position within the United States.
The Main Responsibilities
- Lead, define, and manage initiatives and projects to develop new architectural standards(e.g. Technology Strategies & Roadmaps, architecture positions, enterprise data management, and governance)
- Lead and manage the innovation pipeline and technology scouting processes (experiments, proof of concepts) to ensure forward-looking strategies to support the business strategy
- Define, assess, and evaluate alternative solutions to ensure alignment with strategies, target architectures, and Standards evolution
- Ensure alignment of projects with agreed Strategic Roadmaps and Target Architectures
- Architect and develop systems to support Lumen teams through automation
- Design relational data models for applications and reporting
- Ability to support Enterprise CICD & Orchestration tools and pipelines
- Be comfortable working in all 3 major Cloud Providers: AWS, AZURE, & GCP
- Ability to acquire GSA Government Clearance
What We Look For in a Candidate
- 10+ years related experience with Bachelor's Degree
- 8+ years related experience with Master's Degree
- 5+ years experience with GoLang or similar object oriented programming language
- 5+ years experience working with relational and No-SQL databases
- 3+ years experience with a modern javascript framework such as Angular
- 3+ years experience building and deploying container images to Kubernetes
- 2+ years experience working on Linux systems
- Experience with Terraform, Ansible, & Python preferred
Compensation
This information reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience and other relevant factors.
Location Based Pay Ranges:
$129,639 - $172,852 in these states: AL AR AZ FL GA IA ID IN KS KY LA ME MO MS MT ND NE NM OH OK PA SC SD TN UT VT WI WV WY
$136,121 - $181,494 in these states: CO HI MI MN NC NH NV OR RI
$142,603 - $190,137 in these states: AK CA CT DC DE IL MA MD NJ NY TX VA WA
