Job Title: Senior Director, Global Retail Brand Expression - HOKA

Reports to: VP Global Marketing, HOKA

Location: Remote – West Coast, Los Angeles, CA or Portland, OR preferred

The Role

HOKA, a leading athletic footwear and apparel brand known for innovation and performance, is seeking a strategic leader of Global Retail Brand Expression to be responsible for defining and directing the overall retail brand experience strategy across all retail touchpoints, ensuring that our owned and partner retail spaces deliver exceptional consumer experiences that are aligned with our brand. This role will bring extensive knowledge in retail management, go to market processes, marketing, visual merchandising, design, and consumer experience, along with a deep understanding of how these elements impact our brand at retail.

Your Impact
The primary functions of this role, include but are not limited to:

1. Retail Brand Strategy

  • Develop Comprehensive Strategy: Create a cohesive retail brand experience strategy that aligns with HOKA’s overall brand objectives, ensuring consistency across global owned and wholesale consumer touchpoints. Ensure consistency of branding, messaging, and consumer experience across all retail touch points, while maintaining brand standards at the highest level.
  • Innovative Playbooks and Programs: Design and implement strategies and programs to enhance brand awareness and consumer engagement within retail environments.
  • Monitor Brand Impact: Regularly assess the effectiveness of strategies to ensure they resonate with the target audience and adjust accordingly.

2. Storytelling, Experience, and Design

  • Collaborate with Creative Agencies: Work with design and creative partners to craft innovative storytelling, visual merchandising and retail experiences that enhance consumer engagement, support global brand strategies, hero the product and drive sales.
