Responsibilities/Skills/Experience Requirements
JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develops and implements comprehensive treasury strategies aligned with TransformCo's financial objectives and business goals
- Collaborates with senior leadership to ensure treasury strategies support growth initiatives and optimize financial resources
- Oversees cash management activities, including cash forecasting, liquidity management, and working capital optimization
- Monitors and manages cash flow to ensure adequate liquidity for operational needs and strategic investments
- Leads efforts to optimize capital structure, balancing debt, equity, and other financial instruments to minimize cost of capital and maximize shareholder value
- Identifies, assesses, and manages financial risks, including interest rate risk, foreign exchange risk, and credit risk
- Implements risk mitigation strategies to safeguard TransformCo's financial stability
- Develops and executes investment strategies for short-term and long-term investments, ensuring prudent risk management and maximizing returns
- Oversees debt-related activities, including refinancing, debt issuance, covenant compliance, and reporting to lenders and stakeholders
- Maintains strong relationships with banks, financial institutions, and investors. Communicate effectively to ensure favorable terms and financing opportunities
- Evaluates and implements treasury technology solutions to streamline operations, enhance reporting capabilities, and improve efficiency
- Performs supervisory functions, including but not limited to, making employment decisions regarding hiring, promoting, demoting and terminating, conducting performance appraisals and coaching and developing associates
- Masters Degree
- Over 10 years of related experience
- License/certification in relevant field
- 18 years of age or older
- MBA or other advanced degree in finance
- CTP Certification
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in corporate treasury, banking, or financial services, with management experience
- Proven experience in treasury strategy development, cash management, capital structure optimization, and risk management
- Strong understanding of financial markets, investment strategies, and financial instruments
- Excellent leadership, team management, and collaboration skills
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking abilities
- Effective communication and presentation skills
- Proficiency in treasury management systems and financial software
- Knowledge of regulatory compliance and reporting requirements
- CFA Certification
