About the RoleIn this role, you will be an integral part of the Revenue Analytics team, contributing significantly to Highspot’s go-to-market strategy. Your mission is to provide quantitative analysis, decision support, and insightful reporting across key business areas, delivering value to a variety of cross-functional stakeholders, primarily via Tableau, Snowflake and Salesforce. You will act as a trusted advisor, tackling complex business challenges and crafting compelling, data-driven narratives.
This role requires proficiency in extracting data from diverse sources, ensuring data integrity through quality assurance practices, and producing reports that drive actionable insights and informed decision-making.

What You'll Do

  • As Sr. Data Analyst Manager, Revenue, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our sales, marketing, and customer success strategies by delivering data-driven insights to support strategic decision-making, defining and building analytics methodology, and conducting ad-hoc research. You will measure performance of GTM initiatives with specific focus areas that will include customer insights, sales funnel performance, rep performance, growth trends and forecasting.

  • Your responsibilities include:
  • Deliver accurate and impactful analyses for business questions, leveraging a deep understanding of data sources and business needs, including economic, financial, and statistical analysis.
  • Define data collection requirements (attributes, format, structure) and represent them during the data warehouse and software engineering projects.
  • Clearly and concisely present strategic and tactical recommendations; develop compelling presentations for both internal and external customers. 
  • Collaborate with and influence strategy alongside senior business leaders when solving complex business problems with data-driven insights.
  • Develop analytical models to estimate the impact of different scenarios, assisting in the business decision making process.
  • Design, develop and maintain compelling, accurate, and reliable analytical reports. 
  • Become a trusted advisor to key go-to-market stakeholders by providing ad-hoc reporting, dashboards and analyses. 

  • The ideal candidate will: 
  • Use technical skills and knowledge to synthesize business scenarios into actionable analytics and reporting requirements, by identifying, collecting and analyzing data.
  • Possess strong practical experience building and delivering quantitative research and business reporting solutions via storytelling and formal presentations.
  • Be familiar with GTM metrics necessary to build and analyze sales funnel performance such as win/loss rates, velocity, ASP and lead conversion.
  • Collaborate with Data Engineering teams to automate data flows, create custom views and ensure internal data integrity.
  • Partner closely with the Revenue Operations team to share analytics expertise, informing systems design while understating system usage to optimize data extraction processes to deliver accurate and apt analytics.
  • Take accountability for data integrity by implementing proactive measures to ensure the ongoing accuracy of data sources, dashboards, and analyses.
  • Be a proactive problem solver who can navigate ambiguous situations, translate complex business questions into clear analytical strategies, and drive impactful change.

Your Background

  • Passion for improving business outcomes through data and analytics solutions.
  • 5+ years of experience in analytics or data science, ideally focused on go-to-market strategy, revenue operations, or marketing analytics in a SaaS or high-growth environment.
  • Ability to create and analyze GTM and SaaS metrics including ARR, pipeline coverage, lead conversion rates, discounting, churn.
  • Experience in CRM and marketing automation tools, with a deep knowledge of using BI tools, most importantly, Tableau, for dashboard creation.
  • Ability to cover a wide range of activities; from C-level presentations to leveraging SQL and Python for hands-on data preparation and modeling. 
  • Ability to leverage Python or similar tools for creating automation and data processing scripts.
  • Experience in data mining and statistics, with the ability to leverage tools such as R.
  • Strong expertise in relational databases and SQL, including complex queries (e.g., window functions, CTEs, unbounded preceding, recursion).
  • Strong communication skills, including the ability to summarize and visualize complex analyses to tell a compelling story.
  • Strong ability to prioritize and operate autonomously balanced with ability to seek help early and often to ensure progress is on right track and meeting expectations.

Base salary range: $135,000 - $235,000 USD. Employees are eligible to receive stock options and may also receive other forms of compensation.
The above represents total expected compensation for this role. Actual compensation will depend on various job-related factors, including, but not limited to, location, experience, and job qualifications.
