The Opportunity
This position is critical in ensuring that our cloud infrastructure is not only secure but also aligns with best practices. This work has a heavy automation focus. You will be responsible for designing and implementing automated cloud solutions as well as maintaining and optimizing cloud-infrastructure. This opportunity will leverage your skills in monitoring performance, diagnosing errors, troubleshooting issues, and making necessary changes to optimize system performance. Your expertise will guide the implementation of robust cloud solutions, ensuring compliance with industry standards and organizational policies.
Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
- Build and maintain IaC using Terraform, CDK and Cloud Formation Templates.
- Engineer and implement secure software design following DevOps and Agile methodologies.
- Collaborate with the Security team to enhance cloud security by resolving vulnerabilities identified.
- Engineer a next-generation cloud infrastructure to enhance security, agility, and governance.
- Bring a robust knowledge to collaborate with teams to modernize and redesign critical monolithic applications into microservices architecture.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (Master's preferred).
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in cloud automation, cloud infrastructure and related fields.
- Strong expertise in AWS services and architecture.
- Proficient in automation and scripting languages such as python, Java, Go and PowerShell.
- In-depth knowledge of security frameworks and compliance regulations.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Hashicorp Certified: Terraform Associate).

The proposed salary range for this position is:
