Job Description
- Support team in data analysis, model building, process analysis communication and supplier/contract management
- Perform financial analysis, reviewing of existing supplier portfolio and assisting in development of stakeholders’ requirements and specifications
- Assist with RFx events and documents in conjunction with the creation of the pricing workbooks and the financial analysis of proposal submissions with a focus on overall total proposed value to facilitate maximum savings and service in line with C&W procurement policy. Collaborates with Sourcing Managers and Analysts to further negotiate with suppliers based on analysis outcome compared to market trends and benchmarking data
- Develops and evaluates cost models based upon financial data extracted from industry research, current spending data, and commodity supply analysis to develop sourcing recommendations
- Complete contract value analysis and reporting on cost savings, other savings and value adds
- Assist in the development of internal policies and tools necessary to implement strategic sourcing initiatives and assists in prioritizing strategic sourcing initiatives
- Identify opportunities and implement actions to achieve efficiencies
- Develop and apply standardized and rigorous approach to financial analysis related to sourcing projects while providing support by performing the following as needed:
- Financial modeling for bid analysis
- Cost saving methodology
- Total cost ownership model development
- Spend analysis
- Cost/benefit analysis
- Process analysis
- Develop, track and report savings, spending compliance and variances: communicate findings with Senior Sourcing Manager
- Perform supplier compliance audits as appropriate
- Working with operations and finance develop annual operating budget, reconcile variances from prior year’s budget and analyze increases/savings
- Ability to prioritize and to successfully manage multiple projects/initiatives
- Integrate and analyze complex data and market industry information from multiple sources to develop strategic sourcing recommendations across agreed products/service portfolio
- Assist in developing supplier assessments, score cards and other analytics to enable the team to effectively manage supplier performance
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience
- Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in strategic sourcing, supply chain management and/or procurement
- Professional experience in procurement processes and contracting procedures
- Demonstrate organization skills, including meeting facilitation and decision making
- Demonstrate ability to think and act strategically
- Experience working collaboratively with individuals and groups from a variety of background and organization levels, to incorporate their ideas, adapt to their needs and to form consensus in appropriate situations

The compensation that will be offered to the successful candidate will depend on factors such as whether the position is covered by a collective bargaining agreement, the geographic area in which the work will be performed, market pay rates in that area, and the candidate’s experience and qualifications.
The company will not pay less than minimum wage for this role.
