Responsibilities 

  • Serve as part of 3Cloud’s Managed Services leadership team in coordinating services functions and client experience across service lines, focused on Managed Services.
  • Own direct revenue metric related to sale of Managed Services opportunities.
  • Own indirect revenue (revenue influence) metric related to profitability of Managed Services.
  • Oversee and manage the Managed Services Solution Architecture team with 2 – 3 direct reports.
  • Collaborate with 3Cloud sales executives on opportunities, from strategy to pursuit through closure. Most initial opportunities come to 3Cloud via Professional Services engagements (project work), so large portion of initial Managed Services pursuit is internally focused with Sales Directors to sell Managed Services as a follow-on service. Support sales executives with potential leads for Managed Services and proactively pursue opportunities of existing 3Cloud clients where Managed Services has not been introduced.
  • Coordinate and collaborate with Microsoft account team(s) on account strategy and execution. Whenever possible, support Microsoft initiatives for account penetration and growth.
  • Engage with clients by analyzing infrastructure investments, application portfolios, data platforms and organizational capabilities to understand opportunities for outsourcing and Managed Services.
  • Develop reference architectures, documentation, and other intellectual property that ensures the delivery of managed services that are secure, highly profitable, and scalable.

Requirements 

  • Managed Services experience; experience with solution development, account management and operational KPIs in developing managed services solutions.
  • Pre-sales and sales support experience in a Managed Services organization with a track record of pursuing and closing Managed Services engagements.
  • Cloud platform experience with Microsoft Azure.
