Presbyterian Healthcare is hiring a Solutions Architect to be responsible for developing strategies, technology, tools, methods, services and solutions to solve specific business problems. The Solutions Architect SA aligns technology and business client perspectives together to define how different components of business, information, and technology architectures are used in a given solution. The SA leads the design and development of applications, integrations, and microservices for both on-premise and cloud-based solutions. This includes defining a path to migrate existing legacy systems applications to the cloud and helping shape and execute a high availability strategy. The Solutions Architect will also help connect technology with measurable business value.

Qualifications
- Bachelors degree or 6 years of experience in lieu of education
- 10 years of experience in either architecting, designing, or programming integrating and supporting distributed applications which must include: *5 years of experience in oneof the following: microservices architecture, integration, application design, infrastructure, database, and networking AND
- 5 years of large scale software development or application engineering with coding experience in two or more languages: Java, JavaScript, C/C++, C#, Objective-C, Node.js,.NET, PowerShell, Python, PHP or Ruby
- Experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery CI CD
- Working knowledge of software development tools and methodologies
- Experience architecting operating solutions build
- Experience with compliance models such as HIPAA, PHI, HL7 and PCI
- Presentation skills with a high degree of comfort speaking with executives, IT management, and developers
- Excellent communication skills with an ability to right level conversations
- Demonstrated ability to adapt to new technologies and learn quickly
- Experience migrating or transforming legacy customer solutions to the cloud
- Familiarity with common enterprise services Directory Services, Information Assurance, Virtual Desktop, etc., products i.e., Oracle, SAP, Salesforce, etc. and frameworks such as ITIL
- Experience designing and building cloud-based application using AWS services, Azure, or google cloudDesigning and building applications using Container and serverless technologies
- Experience architecting highly available systems that utilize load balancing, horizontal scalability and high availability
- Experience with continuous integration tools
Responsibilities
- Architecting, designing, and implementing scalable, highly available solutions.
- Deep understanding of business strategies and requirements
- Identify opportunities to eliminate technical debt across enterprise
- Face-to-face interaction and collaboration with business partners, clients, architects, and IT teams to develop solutions, budgets, and timelines
- Acts as a contributing member of a project team from project inception to completion
- Evaluates, advises and makes decisions regarding technology options required for a given solution
- Ensures security, performance, maintainability, scalability, usability, and reliability are addressed in each solution
- Provides architectural guidance to support Agile DevOps software development solutions, modern architectures, system integrations, and cloud migration projects
- Provides leadership and effectively communicates with all levels of management in areas related to solution architecture and future technical strategy
