ĀPosition Summary
Weāre seeking a Software Quality Engineer with a passion for quality and strong understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC) in an agile environment. The ideal candidate has excellent manual testing skills, a detail-oriented mindset, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure our products meet high-quality standards. This position provides the opportunity to work on cutting-edge software solutions while ensuring high-quality standards. Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute test cases and scenarios for software applications in an agile software development environment
- Collaborate with developers, product owners, and stakeholders to ensure the quality of software products
- Conduct end-to-end application testing across hardware, virtual and cloud environments
- āPush Quality to the Leftā to identify and address issues early in designs, code, and processes to improve overall quality
- Continuously enhance testing processes and expand test coverage
- Document and track defects to resolution using JIRA or similar tools
- Manage and configure test environments
Required Qualifications
- Bachelorās degree in STEM field, Computer Science, Engineering, or related degree requiring systematic/analytical thinking
- Up to 2 years scripting and/or OOP programming experience (Python, etc.); new grads will be considered
- Curious engineer who likes to know why things break, with a passion for testing
- Experience in Test Framework development and maintenanceĀ
- Proficiency in Linux OSĀ
- Familiarity with an Issue Tracking system (e.g. JIRA, Bugzilla, etc.)
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, and processesĀ
- Cybersecurity experience
- Background in Cloud and/or other virtualization technologies
- Familiarity with networking, database, ā¦
