As a Software Engineering Mgr Sr within PNC's Technology organization, you may be based in a remote location. This is a remote position. Work may be performed from a quiet, confidential space in a home location, approved by PNC. This position may not be available in all geographic locations.

We are looking for a senior software development specialist who is highly skilled and experienced in leading design, development and maintenance of complex software applications and systems.
• Experience in managing teams who are geographically dispersed and a skilled leader who can coordinate with cross functional teams across the organization.
• Expertise in technology architecture, and one or more of the following skills - C#.Net, Kafka, SQL Server, Oracle, Angular, Flowable, Windows, UNIX/Linux, MVC, Github, Java Script, JQuery, ETL tools, Reporting engines.
• Experience in managing both onshore and offshore teams.
• Extensive experience in collaborating with sponsors/stakeholders to prioritize key deliverables and participate in planning activities.
• Experience in managing application security/vulnerabilities and resiliency activities.
• Experience in partnering with product owners in roadmap discussions and define short-term and long-term goals.
• Extensive experience in Capacity Management, Monitoring, Cyber Security and running/monitoring DR activities.
• Experience in mentoring and guiding software developers in large corporations in technology space.

• Manage a group of software engineers/managers across multiple product lines.
• Oversee the talent management of engineering talent, including recruiting, mentoring, and enabling a culture of learning with a focus on engineering craftsmanship.  
• Foster technological innovation, ensuring adoption of current trends, capabilities, and practices emerging in the market. Encourage sound technology choices are made and drive innovative technology architecture and solution design. 
• Identify issues, share best practices, and drive continuous improvement.
