ABOUT THE JOB

The Software Engineer on the Solution Network team is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining software solutions built on the OneStream development platform, working collaboratively with the rest of the team. This position requires a robust understanding of contemporary software design principles, concepts, and best practices. Reporting to the Manager of Software Development for the Solution Network group, the Software Engineer will interact with team members and other engineering teams, potentially coaching or mentoring colleagues. 

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Analyze, design, develop, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code.
• Integrate data storage solutions, including cloud-based options.
• Ensure optimal performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
• Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to mitigate and address these issues.
• Maintain code quality, organization, and automation.
• Provide ongoing maintenance, support, and enhancements for existing software solutions. 

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• 3+ years of programming experience.
• Recent focus on Microsoft technologies.
• Proficiency with technologies such as VB .Net, C#, Visual Basic, SQL Server, Visual Studio, Git, and Atlassian.
• Experience in a professional IDE such as Visual Studio or VSCode, and tools like SQL Server Management Studio.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Highly self-motivated and directed.
• Deep understanding of object-oriented programming.
• Experience in writing reusable libraries.
• Familiarity with various designs and architectural patterns.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum Development Methodologies.
• Ability to analyze and communicate technical issues, lead discussions, and influence decisions.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills. 

PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor's degree in a technology-related field.
• Experience with Financial Consolidation Software, such as:
• OneStream XF
• Hyperion Financial Management (HFM)
• SAP BOFC (Cartesis)
• SAP Outlooksoft BPC
• IBM Cognos
• Tagetik
