Senior Software/Cloud Engineer

The Impact You’ll Make in this Role: 

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by; 

· Automate aspects of the machine learning model lifecycle and support data scientists to optimize the development, and maintenance of machine learning solutions in the cloud. 

· Implement and execute best practices and security standards for operating with protected data. 

· Design, implement, and contribute to shared libraries for data engineering, model training, model deployment, and CI/CD tooling 

Your Skills and Expertise 

· Bachelor’s Degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited university AND five (5) years of experience in software industry in a private, public, government or military environment. 

OR 

· High School Diploma/GED from an accredited institution and a minimum of 9 years of experience in software industry in a private, public, government or military environment. 

AND 

· Expertise in one or more programming languages, Python preferred (e.g. Python, Java, Go, C++, etc). 

· Hands-on experience with CI/CD workflows, containerization, and infrastructure as code (IaC) 

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include: 

· Master’s degree in computer science or a related field. 

· Experience building in a cloud-first environment in a highly regulated sector, preference given to AWS 

· Experience with data extract, transform, and load (ETL) pipelines at large scale. 

· Hands-on experience with machine learning technologies and platforms such as PyTorch,  TorchServe, and AWS SageMaker. 

· Track record of taking initiative to improve developer workflows and end-to-end machine learning pipelines.

Applicable to US Applicants Only:The expected compensation range for this position is $137,439 - $167,981, which includes base pay plus variable incentive pay, if eligible. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s relevant knowledge, training, skills, work location, and/or experience. In addition, this position may be eligible for a range of benefits (e.g., Medical, Dental & Vision, Health Savings Accounts, Health Care & Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts, Disability Benefits, Life Insurance, Voluntary Benefits, Paid Absences and Retirement Benefits, etc.).
