Leidos is hiring a Software Developer to develop and maintain external interfaces in Python programming for one of our significant programs within the company, The Internal Revenue Service (IRS). This position will require onsite support for troubleshooting and configuration of the system (RedHat with MS SQL 2019).   

The Successful Candidate will have:

• Bachelor's degree and 2 or more years of relevant experience. However, additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree.

• Experience with Python programming.

• Experience with Unix C/C++ programming.

• Experience with RedHat system, GitLab, and SQL queries.

• The ability to understand IRS Cloud infrastructure on AWS.

• Prior IRS experience

Clearance Requirements:

• Ability to obtain and maintain a Minimum Background Investigation (MBI) clearance, similar to a Public Trust.

• Candidates must be a US Citizen or a Lawful Permanent Resident (Green Card status) for 3 years and have resided in the US for 3 of the last 5 years and be Federal Tax compliant.
