Peraton is seeking a highly qualified SME Systems Architect in support to the upcoming LONG-RANGE ENTERPRISE INTELLIGENCE, SURVEILLANCE, AND RECONNAISSANCE ACTIVITY (LEIA). As part of a highly talented, motivated, team, you will support a fast-paced program delivering a broad spectrum of Command, Control, Communications, Computer, Cyber Defense, Combat Systems, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (C6ISR) capabilities to support SOCPAC missions and itâs AORs.   ******POSITION IS CONTINGENT ON CONTRACT AWARD********** Duties and responsibilities include: SME System Architects designs and develop solutions for complex applications problems, API design, data services, platform services, cloud services and infrastructure services to meet user requirements and align to strategic goals and the Enterprise Architecture.
- Designs, develops, maintains, and documents solution architectures ensuring traceability to the Enterprise architecture and Enterprise requirements.
- Conducts the analysis of user requirements, procedures, and problems to automate or improve existing systems and review computer system capabilities, workflow, and scheduling limitations.
- Develops proposed changes to the solutions architecture design based on analysis of requirements and new technology.
- Working knowledge of Model Based Systems Engineering, processes, tools and languages
- Design system architecture and components
- Define system scope and vision
- Develop and test system prototypes
- Implement and deploy system solutions
- Review and improve system architecture and design
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree with 12+ yearsâ experience or Master's degree with 9+ yearsâ experience or HS Diploma/equivalent and 16 years of experience in an enterprise architecture role
- Proven success in architecting and implementing Enterprise Solutions.
- Demonstrable Strength in Enterprise Architecture: Strong foundation in EA principles, frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, Zachman)
- Ability to analyze complex information, identify trends, and propose solutions that align with business strategies.
- Sufficient technical background to interact with IT subject matter experts (SMEs) and integrate their insights into comprehensive architectural plans.
- Citizenship Required; must have an active Secret security clearance
