The Role at High Level:
We’re looking for a talented Sales Specialist who doesn’t shy away from tackling hard problems and interesting (well, most times) subjects like payroll and HR technology. This position offers salary plus commission based on sales metrics and revenue. You will identify new prospects from relationships built from accountants, referrals, business partners, and direct B2B sales campaigns. You will report directly to our Sales Manager.
Salary for this role is $50,000 - $65,000 CAD with an OTE of $33,600 CAD
What You'll Be Expected To Own:
- Sales Targets: Achieve and surpass monthly, quarterly, and annual quotas using a data-driven approach.
- Customer Experience: Provide positive, engaging interactions and align client needs with Wagepoint’s solutions.
- End-to-End Sales Cycle: Manage the journey from prospecting to onboarding, ensuring seamless client transitions.
- Relationship Building: Cultivate meaningful connections with prospects to increase Wagepoint product adoption.
- Product Expertise: Act as a knowledgeable ambassador for Wagepoint’s features and benefits, addressing client needs effectively.
- Resource Efficiency: Leverage CRM and sales tools to optimize lead tracking, follow-ups, and adherence to SLAs.
- Collaboration: Work with onboarding and risk teams to ensure smooth client handoffs and successful onboarding.
- Team Mentorship: Support and guide new sales team members by sharing best practices and fostering their growth.
What You Bring To The Table:
- Previous SMB sales experience, ideally within payroll software or SaaS.
- A proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
- A "hunter and gatherer" approach, with the ability to prospect and close deals with companies that fit Wagepoint’s solutions.
- Experience thriving in a fast-paced SaaS environment.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize effectively.
- Proficiency in using CRM tools to manage opportunities and communications.
- A customer-focused mindset, with a passion for delivering exceptional client experiences.
- You have experience using HubSpot CRM.
- You bring a high EQ, strong work ethic, and dedication to delivering exceptional customer experiences.
- You excel in a remote work environment, demonstrating productivity, reliability, and trustworthiness.
