The Role at High Level: 
We’re looking for a talented Sales Specialist who doesn’t shy away from tackling hard problems and interesting (well, most times) subjects like payroll and HR technology. This position offers salary plus commission based on sales metrics and revenue. You will identify new prospects from relationships built from accountants, referrals, business partners, and direct B2B sales campaigns. You will report directly to our Sales Manager. 

Salary for this role is $50,000 - $65,000 CAD with an OTE of $33,600 CAD

What you'll be doing:

  • Develop relationships with new prospects to increase the users on Wagepoint products
  • Meet the companies required KPIs/Targets
  • Have a detailed knowledge of Wagepoint products and be an expert for potential clients
  • Utilize the resources available to maximize efficiencies (Sequences, CRM, SLAs etc) 
  • Work with the onboarding and risk departments to ensure the client moves along the sales cycle to convert as a client
  • Assist and lead the way for new sales specialists to ensure a smooth transition into the teams environment

What you bring to the table:

  • Previous Sales Experience Required
  • Payroll Experience Preferred
  • Hitting targets excites you! You strive to not only meet but exceed the targets you are challenged with.
  • You are a hunter and a gatherer. You have the flexibility to prospect companies who would be a great fit.
  • You have experience in a fast paced SaaS environment.
  • Your time management skills are impeccable.
  • You have used a CRM to manage your opportunities and communications. Bonus points if you used Hubspot!
  • Your work ethic consists of high EQ, dedication to get the job done right and deliver an unparalleled customer experience.
  • Ability to work in a remote environment, be productive, reliable and trustworthy.
