The following position is to join our RTX Corporate, Enterprise Services, Research Center or BBN team: 

Position Overview:

  • RTX is looking for a candidate with experience managing a SharePoint Environment with an interest in creating a vision for the next generation of External Collaboration for the enterprise. The ideal candidate will be decisive in high pressure scenarios, interested in growing into a leadership position, improving and developing processes for conducting standard work.

What You Will Do

  • Support execution of a 3-5 year roadmap for the SharePoint External service, with significant potential for near term Azure cloud deployment.

  • Support and maintain PING enabled RTX Enterprise SharePoint External Windows 2016 farm which includes:

  • RTX customizations, IIS Web Servers for SharePoint and Web Applications, SharePoint Designer, InfoPath, Report Builder, SQL Server, and PowerShell.

What You Will Learn

  • Nuances of supporting a complex collaborative environment requiring adherence to strict security and global trade policies.

Qualifications You Must Have

  • SharePoint Architecture, including 5+ years of SharePoint administration installing, configuring, and maintaining a multi-server farm

  • 5 years minimum experience supporting IIS web applications with understanding of application pools, SSL certificates, web.config settings, service accounts, windows services

  • Experience troubleshooting windows-based applications with ability to analysis HTTP traffic and logs (application and system)

  • U.S. Citizen

  • Typically requires a university degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an advanced degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience.

  • Remote role, with no Travel Requirements

  • SharePoint Online Administration experience including B2B and guest access

  • Azure Certified: Fundamentals

  • Microsoft O365 Certified: Administrator Expert

The salary range for this role is 77,000 USD - 163,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
