Leidos is seeking a ServiceNow Business Analyst to join our Mission Support Services (MSS) team. MSS is a shared service, internal investment group, supporting multiple Service Desks and ServiceNow implementations for both Leidos and Federal Government customers. You will be part of a 100% virtual team of more than 10 that develops, deploys, troubleshoots, and maintains ServiceNow applications which may include integration with other applications. This Business Analyst position is a new position to further support our customers and their expanding ServiceNow needs.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Perform administrative functions as needed.
  • Work closely with our customers to obtain requirements.
  • Lead the team in generating, enhancing, implementing and executing systems engineering and team processes, plans and procedures.
  • Lead the team in working with stakeholders to analyze the business and technical needs for ServiceNow ITSM and CSM and other systems/applications/tools, and define and document the needed system and software requirements in the form of roadmaps, backlogs and user stories.
  • Lead the successful completion of requirement definition and documentation within required program schedules.
  • Lead monthly, interim and out of cycle releases.
  • Accomplish all tasks via a combination of individual hands-on effort and leadership of ServiceNow team members in the performance of these tasks.
  • Lead team activities as needed, including those that are part of the Agile process such as scrum meetings.
  • Support team activities and review work products to ensure implementation and testing is consistent with requirements and meets business needs.
  • Provide status of team activities to management as needed.
  • Mentor and develop team members, particularly in the areas of systems engineering, business analysis, requirements generation and associated ITIL and Agile best practices.
  • Receive a moderate level of guidance and direction, able to work independently and in a team setting.
  • No supervisory responsibilities but may need to provide guidance/instructions to employees on the MSS team when requested by other Business Analysts, Technical Lead or MSS Management,

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in relevant field with 4+ years experience or Masters degree in relevant field with 2+ years experience.  Additional years of experience and/or relevant certifications will be considered in lieu of degree.
  • Systems engineering experience, including generation of systems and software requirements
  • Business analysis experience, including working with customers and stakeholders to define system needs
  • Experience leading small to medium teams or projects
  • Experience establishing goals and plans that meet project objectives
  • Customer interface experience
  • Experience working across multiple levels of internal and customer stakeholders and reaching consensus on complex technical solutions
  • Excellent communications skills
  • Excellent teamwork skills
  • Experience with use of Agile methodologies for systems engineering, software development and/or testing
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Government Public Trust Clearance
  • U.S. Citizen

Desired Qualifications:

  • Agile certifications and experience leading Agile efforts, particularly as Scrum Master
  • Experience supporting customers in a dynamic IT operations environment
  • ITSM, CSM and HRSD ServiceNow certifications
  • Cloud development and testing experience
  • Software development and/or test experience
  • Experience working in JIRA

Pay Range:

Pay Range $68,900.00 - $124,550.00

The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
