The Service Sales Manager, West Zone is responsible for Leading, supporting, and developing the Equipment Service Sales team across the region. Drive the overall Sales performance of the business with a focus on Contract Growth Provide Commercial Coaching & Support to the Service Sales team, Regional Service teams and other modalities to drive Service revenue.
California is a key state for this region, and an ideal location for this candidate to live is in northern or southern California. (San Francisco Bay area or San Diego Area). Other states in this region include Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Montana, Wyoming, Colorado, New Mexico, Arizona & Utah.
This role provides leadership and direction to region Equipment Service Sales team driving sustained growth and profitability. Develop and maintain long-term customer relationships in assigned region. Ensure customer satisfaction, resolution, and growth across Cytiva’s entire product and services portfolio.
This position reports to Linda Spehalski and is part of the Service Sales, Equipment Services Team, and will be fully remote.
What you will do:
- Lead, support and develop the Equipment Service Sales team across the region.
- Drive the overall Sales performance of the business with a focus on Contract Growth.
- Provide commercial coaching and support to the Service Sales team, Regional Service teams and other modalities to drive Service revenue.
- Deliver consistent sales process discipline across the team, with a strong focus on driving accurate funnel management, and forecast accuracy.
- Using DBS techniques drive continual improvement around key commercial metrics.
- Builds peer support and strong internal-company relationships with other key management personnel.
- Acquires and develops talent and adapts workforce competencies to meet evolving business needs, while effectively managing change
Who you are:
- Holds a Bachelor of Science, or Bachelor of Arts Degree
- Someone who has a strong track record developing and leading high performing teams, nurturing a culture of inclusion and diversity, openness, and collaboration, operating in a matrix environment.
- Holds relevant commercial experience in Service and or BioPharma Environment or related field
- Has excellent written and spoken English skills, and is a good communicator with strong collaborative and commercial skills
- Someone who is digitally savvy with experience of Salesforce.com and digital communications strategies
Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements: if applicable for role
- Ability to travel 30% of time
- Must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
Service Sales Management Experience within the Life Sciences Industry or related field

The salary range for this role is $114,700 - $150,000. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future.
This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
