About your new role:


Your role as a Senior Voice Engineer involves developing strategies for engineering VoIP solutions, integrating systems to meet customer needs, and focusing on Teams Voice applications like Direct Routing. You'll also lead, mentor, and train other Engineers, resolve complex issues, design custom-managed services, and contribute to best practices. This is a Full-Time, 100% Remote opportunity. 


No travel to customer locations is required. 


Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and engineer integrations between MetaSwitch and Teams.
  • Development of procedures and training materials.
  • Handling new customer-managed service provisioning support functions Interfacing with vendors to resolve support issues.
  • Keeping customers happy with superior support and a level head--going the extra mile
  • Train and assist other engineers with complex issues.

What you'll need for success:

  • High School Diploma or GED Equivalent 
  • 5-7 years of related experience working in a fast-paced environment
  • Must have a strong and proven ability to analyze, summarize and solve issues with VoIP services and SIP messaging.
  • Experience with Metaswitch CFS and EAS in a SIP environment.
  • Experience with Teams, specifically Voice Administration.
  • Experience with Powershell, related to teams and office 365 administration.
  • General knowledge of scripting/automation.
  • Understanding of modern APIs.
  • Excellent organization skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to multi-task assignments and follow process flow are required.
  • Must have excellent communication and analytical skills to understand and resolve customer issues effectively. This would include being comfortable talking with Clients.

Commandlink hires individuals in a number of geographic regions and the pay ranges listed reflect the cost of labor across these regions. The base pay for this position as displayed at the bottom of the job description is a range based on our lowest geographic region, up to our highest geographic region. Pay is based on location among other factors, such as skill-set, experience, and qualifications held.
