Job Overview 

Davies Claims North America is actively looking for an experienced Senior Vice President of Sales for TPA Services in Workers' Compensation. You will be responsible for driving new business and managing existing client revenue retention and growth. You will liaise with business leaders to understand their financial targets, service lines and competencies.

 

To be successful in this role, you must be able to demonstrate a proven ability to build and convert a strong sales pipeline to match the accelerated growth objectives of Davies Claims North America as well as execute the required sales plan. You must have at least 3+ years of TPA sales experience and detailed knowledge of Workers’ Compensation principles, terminology, customs, and practices. Additionally, you will need to have excellent judgment and problem-solving skills, the ability to manage multiple projects or priorities, and strong influence, communication, and negotiation skills. This role offers an excellent opportunity for someone who is eager to grow in the field of sales TPA services industry. This is a full-time, home-based position that requires travel up to 50%.

 

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to acquire new clients and retain existing ones within Workers' Compensation 
  • Identify and target potential clients, including insurance carriers, self-insured employers, and other organizations needing Workers' Compensation claims management solutions
  • Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders in target organizations
  • Conduct presentations and product demonstrations to showcase the TPA's services and capabilities
  • In collaboration with the DCNA leaders, develop and execute the sales plan required to maintain and grow business for Davies Claims North America
  • Perform business development duties, including but not limited to the following: market and territory analysis, new business opportunity identification, marketing campaign and pre-sales leadership, pursuit and solution proposal leadership, contract negotiation and execution, and post-sale customer success engagement
  • Enable existing customer retention and growth; facilitate long-term relationships with both customers and partners, with a strong initial emphasis on bringing in targeted new customers and nurturing existing Davies customer relationships
  • Execute daily pipeline management and provide weekly forecast, pipeline, and activity reports, as directed
  • Collaborate closely and effectively with DCNA leaders as well as other Davies marketing and business development
  • Maintain an in-depth knowledge of Davies competencies as well as Davies Workers’ Compensation, Property & Casualty and MGA/TPA Industry solutions
  • Build pipeline to deliver our target top line growth and convert pipeline at an efficient and effective rate

Experience and Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor's Degree 
  • 3 to 5 years selling Workers’ Compensation TPA Services
  • In lieu of a degree, equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered
  • Experience partnering with C-level executives as a trusted advisor

 

Preferred

  • Prior experience selling P&C TPA Services 
  • Industry-relevant designations are a plus - CPCU, CLU, AINS, AIC, ARM AIM, etc.

Essential Requirements

  • Must have US work rights

  • 3+ years of TPA sales experience plus bachelor's degree or 5 years minimum in lieu of degree

Position Type, Work Environment and Physical Demands

This is a remote, full time, salaried, exempt position that predominantly operates remotely from a professional home-based office environment routinely using standard office equipment such as computers, phones, printers, photocopiers, and scanners and requires prolonged periods of sitting at a desk while working on a computer. While performing the duties of this job, the individual will be required to regularly hear and talk. This is a largely sedentary role requiring the ability to sit at a desk, reach outward, use a phone, have use of fingers to operate office equipment such as a keyboard, mouse, phone, printer, copier, and to reach above the head, bend, or stand as necessary.
