Senior Treasury Analyst
Job Summary:
The Global Treasury team is seeking a Senior Treasury Analyst. This position is responsible for supporting the investment operations, governance, analyzing and supporting the investment portfolio strategy and related float income forecasting, monitoring financial markets, interest rates and global economic key indicators, establishing bank and investment account structure and services, supporting AML/KYC bank regulatory compliance, audits and licensing for payroll processors, and ensuring appropriate ACH limits are in place to facilitate a growing payroll business. This position reports to Senior Manager, Global Treasury.
Primary/Essential Duties and Key Responsibilities:
- Execute investments of excess cash, ensuring sufficient funding is available to support operational needs
- Responsible for the treasury operations functions, daily cash position, cash management, ACH returns, NOCs, and balance reporting
- Monitor various interest rates to ensure that current investment selections are optimal and support the overall investment strategy
- Monitor ACH operating exposure utilization and available capacity. Ensure optimal ACH limits are in place among banks to support growing payroll business. Request increases to ACH lines as needed
- Setup and maintain bank account structure, fees, funding methods, ACH limits and account services to support Client Fiduciary Fund payroll processing
- Support bank regulatory compliance including AML/KYC due diligence, third-party sender, third-party payment processor, Retail Payment Activities Act, money services business, money transmitter, and NACHA audits
- Support the AML/KYC program policies and licensing requirements in coordination with Legal
- Assist in the managing of investment portfolios for Client Fiduciary and Corporate Funds
- Research and recommend optimal investments to enhance yield and liquidity while preserving principal
- Monitor financial markets and key economic indicators of interest rate movements and research global economic forecasts and industry reports to build scenarios into investment forecast models
- Assist with the Investment Policy governance and compliance process by tracking, monitoring and reporting investments and counterparty risk to ensure that they fall within set parameters
- Assist with forecasting and reporting of the average daily balances and investment float income
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Corporate Treasury, Corporate Finance and/or FP&A, performing treasury operations, cash management, investments, bank account management, interest rate analysis, counterparty credit ratings, financial analysis and reporting
- Solid experience with third-party processors/senders, payroll and tax payment processing or other payment services industry firms managing client funds and ACH exposure limits
- Experience with AML, KYC, TPP/TPS, RPAA, MSB, NACHA and related bank regulatory compliance
- Familiar with of financial markets, various investment vehicles, interest rates, bank and investment reporting
- Effective communication skills including the ability to organize, prepare and present financial reports and analysis to Sr. Management
- Possess analytical, critical‐thinking and problem‐solving and prioritization skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Treasury Management System (TMS) experience is a plus
- Prior experience managing and investing client fiduciary funds
