Senior Specialist, Compensation (1st Shift) - Scottsdale/Remote

Overview:

Providing accurate and timely support in the overall day-to-day Reward efforts across the organization, with specific focuses on compensation across the organization, especially on compensation and benefits data management. You will be implementing and administering compensation and benefits programs.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Compensation and Benefits Review and Operations

  • Assist with periodic reporting e.g. quarterly true ups to Finance for bonus provisions.
  • Coordinate and review benefits programs by working with Regional/Country HR managers and Global Rewards Manager.
  • Serves as a subject matter expert for compensation related questions such as job evaluation, market data, Cash Bonus plan and Long-term incentive plan from our HR colleagues globally, and escalates to the Compensation and benefits Manager, as required.
  • Maintains and creates current standard operating procedures.
  • Assists with legal compliance requirements, including annual filings, audits, and mandated testing.
  • Works closely with vendors, establishing close working relationships and monitoring compliance with SLA’s.
  • Assisting in ad-hoc query and projects.
  • Review promotional and career progression salary increase proposal and any other request.

Job Analysis and Evaluation

  • Support the delivery of job analysis and job evaluation processes.
  • Produce job descriptions/role profiles and associated scoping data.

Mobility

  • Assists with International Assignment and relocation.

Annual Pay and Benefits Review

  • Support the delivery of the annual review.
  • Provide relevant payroll and market pay analyses.
  • Contribute to the drafting of communications and the preparation of management decision-making tools.

Reporting and Analysis

  • Conduct gender pay gap analysis and internal equity analysis from time-to-time.
  • Conduct audits to check salary changes in Fusion outside of approval matrix.
  • Keep abreast of minimum wage guideline and make recommendations for compliance. 
  • Assist with FLSA status (exempt and non-exempt) 
  • Support in reviewing salary scales/compa-ratio in Fusion.

Qualifications:

EDUCATION

  • Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Level

EXPERIENCE

General Experience

  • Proven experience in performing role regarding work-related systems, processes, and challenges
    • Has Job Evaluation certification
    • Is familiar with market salary benchmarking and has worked with Mercer, KF or AON data sets
    • Preferably with org design knowledge
    • Experience managing International Assignees and tax-related matters.
