Position Summary:
The Senior Sales Operations Specialist plays a key role in supporting the SVP, US Sales, and the broader sales team at Travere. This highly motivated and proactive individual will manage a wide range of operational, administrative and project management tasks that contribute to the effectiveness and growth of the commercial organization. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment, all while aligning with Travere’s strategic goals, mission, vision, values, and culture.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the SVP, US Sales’ calendar, internal and external meetings, and activities related to field leadership and training
- Supports multiple line managers across the US Sales team on meeting planning, reporting, analysis and team engagement activities
- Assists with troubleshooting and executing sales administration/operations process optimization
- Partners with other key stakeholders to proactively identify business gaps, implement and drive process efficiencies
- Coordinate and maintain multiple project calendars supporting the expansion of the commercial organization
- Proactively plan and organize meetings involving the SVP, US Sales and key matrix partners that work in close partnership with the commercial team
- Assist in planning and executing sales leadership events, team-building activities, and organizational meetings (on- and off-site)
- Create, edit, and distribute content such as internal communications, PowerPoint presentations and other resources supporting field teams and cross-functional collaborators
- Facilitate timely distribution of internal communications on behalf of the SVP, US Sales
- Oversee monthly expense reporting, vendor SOWs, purchase orders and accrual reviews
- Manage employee on- and off-boarding processes
- Provide research, content development, and project management support for special initiatives
- Act as a liaison with internal stakeholders and external partners, providing timely follow-up and issue resolution
Education/Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in related discipline. Equivalent combination of education and applicable job experience may be considered.
- A minimum of 4+ years of relevant experience.
- Experience working in biotech or pharmaceutical industry strongly preferred.
Additional Skills/Experience/Requirements:

- Advanced level of proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite programs, especially Outlook, Calendar, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Excellent collaboration skills, well organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to multi-task, manage complexity and shifting priorities.
- Proven ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and proactively solve problems.
- High level of customer service, interpersonal skills, and professionalism.
- Excellent reading comprehension, verbal and written communication skills are required.
- Must be able to operate with strict adherence to confidentiality requirements and appropriately handling highly confidential and/or sensitive information.
- Ability to travel 15% domestically
- All positions have an essential job function to be able to perform face to face work with colleagues and/or onsite in San Diego. No role is expected to be 100% remote.

Compensation: Our competitive compensation package includes a combination of both cash compensation (base pay and short-term incentive) and long-term incentive compensation (company stock), designed to recognize, retain, and reward employees.
Target Base Pay Range:
$90,000.00 - $115,000.00*This information is current as of the date of this posting and may be modified in the future. Actual pay offered to a candidate will depend on a variety of factors including the candidate’s experience, education, skills, and location.
