The Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Sales Executive to join our North American Sales team, focusing on a new market segment for INSTANDA. This is a role that will give the right salesperson the opportunity to create a market and own it. Traditionally INSTANDA has been successful selling to MGAs, we are now ready after a couple of significant client wins, to take our product to larger enterprises, notably P&C carriers.

The role is for someone who is comfortable working in an ambiguous and constantly changing environment. Understands that not everything has to be perfect to sell successfully and is willing to be the leader of a new market segment and make recommendations on how we will win it. We are a challenger and we are looking for someone that can take that challenge on and own it.

What you will do...

  • Participate in creating a go-to-market strategy for a new segment.
  • Open, qualify and close deals direct prospecting, campaign management (with marketing help) networking, relationships, and referrals.
  • Lead all aspects of the sales process including new business development, client research, objection handling, customer demos (with support of our Technical Pre-Sales team), pricing, closing, and follow up.
  • Understand the INSTANDA value proposition and stay on top of evolutions in the market.
  • Create and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals.
  • Achieve and exceed sales targets.

Requirements

What we're looking for...

  • A hunger and a passion for sales. If you are coin-operated and want to earn commission, this is a great role for you.
  • 10+ years relevant professional experience in an enterprise software/solution sales role, you have ideally spent time in a fast-growing organization.
  • Exposure to SaaS software and its benefits.
  • Experience working within the Insurance market or tech start-up is an asset, but not required.
  • Must be both technically and commercially savvy, with good discovery & listening skills.
  • Ability to diligently manage competing deadlines in a target driven environment.
  • High EQ with a confident presentation style and networking skills.
  • While this role is fully remote, some travel will be required, including but not limited to visiting prospects & clients in person, company events, conferences, and tradeshows
