What you’ll be doing:

As a Senior Sales Development Representative (SDR), you will be responsible for identifying and qualifying potential customers through targeted outreach methods like cold calling and email, building relationships with prospects, and effectively passing highly qualified leads to the sales director to further develop into sales opportunities, all while meeting and exceeding monthly sales development targets; requiring strong communication skills, in-depth market knowledge, and expertise in utilizing sales technology tools to generate new business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Generation and Prospecting:

    • Conduct thorough research to identify and target potential customers within the ideal customer profile.

    • Utilize various outreach channels including cold calling, email, social media, and LinkedIn to connect with prospects.

    • Develop personalized outreach strategies to engage prospects based on their needs and pain points.

  • Lead Qualification:

    • Conduct in-depth conversations to understand prospect needs, business challenges, and buying authority.

    • Qualify leads based on established criteria like company size, industry, job title, and budget.

    • Effectively assess the potential of each lead and prioritize opportunities accordingly.

  • Sales Pipeline Management:

    • Manage a robust pipeline of qualified leads by tracking progress and ensuring timely follow-up in salesforce.

    • Schedule calls and meetings between qualified prospects and the sales director.

    • Collaborate closely with the sales director to ensure a seamless handoff of qualified leads

  • Relationship Building:

    • Establish rapport with potential customers and build trust through effective communication 

    • Nurture leads by providing valuable information and addressing concerns 

    • Position themselves as a trusted advisor to prospects throughout the sales cycle

  • Data Analysis and Reporting: 

    • Monitor key sales metrics and analyze performance data to identify areas for improvement

    • Utilize CRM tools to track outreach activities, lead qualification, and sales pipeline progression

    • Provide regular updates to sales leader on progress and insights

Requirements

What we need you to bring:

  • Proven track record of success in a sales development role, ideally selling experience across complex machine learning, AI and /or data labeling services

  • Strong knowledge of GenAI, to include LLM, SFT and Trust and Safety is critical

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to build rapport quickly

  • Strong understanding of sales methodologies and best practices

  • Ability to research and identify potential customers effectively

  • Excellent time management and organizational skills to manage a high volume of leads

  • Strong listening skills to understand customer needs and pain points

Salary: $85,000-$105,000
