Opportunity:

Virtual Service Operations is searching for a Senior Rubrik Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will serve as a Rubrik SME for our Backup Team.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as a Subject Matter Expert for Rubrik data protection.
• Manage and maintain the Rubrik data protection infrastructure, including but not limited to Rubrik clusters, backup policies, storage repositories, and replication configurations.
• Monitor the performance and capacity of the Rubrik infrastructure, proactively identifying and resolving any issues to ensure optimal data protection and backup operations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement backup and recovery strategies, ensuring compliance with data retention policies and regulatory requirements.
• Configure and manage data protection policies and schedules, including backup, replication, and archival processes, to meet business needs and recovery objectives.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues related to Rubrik data protection and backup infrastructure, working closely with vendors and internal teams as needed.
• Conduct regular backups, test data recovery procedures, and perform periodic disaster recovery drills to validate the effectiveness of backup and restore operations.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in Rubrik technologies, attending training sessions and acquiring certifications to enhance your expertise and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Provide support to junior administrators or team members.
• Document configurations and processes ensuring the availability of accurate and up-to-date technical documentation. 

• 5 - 7 years of relevant experience 
• Proficient with Rubrik, Backup, Infrastructure and Customer Engagement
• Must be able and willing to work 100% remote
• Please note that pursuant to a government contract, this specific position requires U.S. citizenship status
