ManTech is seeking a Senior REACT Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in developing complex UI components and full-stack applications using React and Node.js. This role involves working on both new and existing projects, with a strong emphasis on creating user-friendly, efficient, and secure web applications.


Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Develop and Maintain Web Applications:

    • Design, develop, and enhance user interfaces using React.

    • Implement back-end services using Node.js and Express.

    • Ensure applications are scalable, responsive, and meet high-performance standards.

  • Collaboration and Communication:

    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.

    • Work closely with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

    • Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback and mentoring junior developers.

  • Technical Leadership:

    • Lead the architectural design and development of new applications from scratch.

    • Implement best practices in code quality, testing (Mocha, Chai), and continuous integration.

    • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies, ensuring the team uses modern, efficient, and secure development practices.

Required Qualifications:

  • A bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 10 years of professional software development experience.

  • Extensive experience with React, Redux, Node.js, Express, and MongoDB.

  • Proven track record of developing enterprise-level applications and services.

  • Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and database design.

  • Experience with TypeScript, Tailwind CSS, and UI frameworks like Material-UI.

  • Familiarity with testing frameworks such as Jasmine, Karma, Mocha, and Chai.

  • Experience in developing and maintaining full-stack applications from concept to deployment.

  • Proficiency in front-end technologies, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to debug complex issues.

  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment.

  • Strong understanding of version control systems (e.g., Git).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with cloud services (AWS, Azure).

  • Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools (Docker, Kubernetes).

  • Experience with GIS applications and services.

  • Contributions to open-source projects.

Physical Requirements: 

  • The person in this position will need to be able to operate a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer. 

The projected compensation range for this position is $84,900-$141,100. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories. In addition, ManTech invests in it’s employees beyond just compensation.
