Senior Program Manager, Consulting Processes

The Red Hat GTM Services Process/Transformation team is looking for a Senior Program Manager (Business Process Improvement - Consulting) to join us in the USA. In this role, you’ll report directly to the GTM Services Process/Transformation Leader and be responsible for a broad spectrum of activities related to improving how the Services business runs across the globe. Key responsibilities include leading process improvements, providing thought leadership, creation and documentation of future-state business processes as well as the assessment and validation of current processes and gaps. You will model, design and implement process architectures, and establish process measurement systems that align with organizational goals. Successful applicants must reside in a state where Red Hat is registered to do business.

What you will do:

  • Model business processes for the Global Services Business team from start to end with emphasis on Consulting

  • Conduct business process analysis and design at a complex level; focusing on quality improvement and data management

  • Be the single point of Continuous Improvement initiatives across the Services Consulting line of business providing Thought Leadership

  • Support the delivery of better value and greater efficiency through the identification and elimination of unnecessary complexity within business processes and the identification of better ways of working

  • Lead larger transformational initiatives that impact our Consulting business across the Globe from evolution/efficiency identification to project delivery via internal governance and controls

  • Manage centralized repository of processes and improve processes to minimize complexities and optimize to promote effective operations.

  • Provide and support the implementation of business solutions by building relationships and partnerships with key stakeholders

  • Identify opportunities for automating manual processes. Recommend process improvements, re-engineering, and elimination of non-value-added steps

  • Integrate new systems and processes with existing ones

  • Measure productivity gained through process change and track ROI

  • Track and manage process updates

What you bring:

  • Experienced in establishing and contributing to process improvements & driving change management. (Services domain preferred)

  • 5+ years of relevant professional business process modeling experience

  • Demonstrate a high degree of expertise in Business Process Model and Notation (BPMN) and BPMN 2.0

  • Ability to work closely with a global team to develop process models for the global services consulting and training business processes

  • Extensive experience with a business process management (BPM) modeling tool, e.g., Signavio, etc., and be comfortable working with an agile development methodology

  • Equipped with Problem Solving analytical mindset 

  • Ability to analyze and synthesize business requirements, including recognizing patterns and conceptualizing processes.

  • 5+ years of experience in dealing with complex projects and multicultural and multi-disciplinary across widely diverse corporate management teams, as well as a broad spectrum of regional and global internal partners

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of cross functional leadership, field operations, and subject matter experts

  • Possess a healthy balance of business and technical background or experience

  • Understanding of continuous improvement concepts including Six Sigma, Lean, value stream mapping is a plus

  • Ability to work on your own and being comfortable in a fast-paced, ambiguous, and often multi-directional work environment

  • Lean Six Sigma certifications are a plus

The salary range for this position is $103,290.00 - $170,500.00. Actual offer will be based on your qualifications.

Pay Transparency

Red Hat determines compensation based on several factors including but not limited to job location, experience, applicable skills and training, external market value, and internal pay equity. Annual salary is one component of Red Hat’s compensation package. This position may also be eligible for bonus, commission, and/or equity. For positions with Remote-US locations, the actual salary range for the position may differ based on location but will be commensurate with job duties and relevant work experience.
