Job Description

QAD, a leader in cloud-based enterprise software and services, is looking for an ambitious and experienced Senior Program Executive to lead and deliver complex engineering programs. This role will be responsible for the overall program strategy, execution, and success, ensuring alignment with company objectives and stakeholder expectations. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with a proven track record of delivering large-scale engineering programs on time and within budget.

Responsibilities:

  • Program Leadership:

    • Lead and manage the full lifecycle of complex engineering programs from initiation to closure.

    • Define program scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with key stakeholders.

    • Develop and manage program budgets, schedules, and resources.

    • Identify and mitigate program risks and issues.

    • Ensure program adherence to quality standards and best practices.

  • Stakeholder Management:

    • Build and maintain strong relationships with cross-functional teams, including engineering, product, marketing, and sales.

    • Effectively communicate program status, risks, and issues to stakeholders.

    • Negotiate and influence stakeholders to achieve program objectives.

  • Process Improvement:

    • Drive continuous improvement in program management methodologies and processes.

    • Identify and implement best practices to enhance program efficiency and effectiveness.

  • Team Leadership:

    • Provide leadership and guidance to program team members.

    • Foster a collaborative and high-performing team environment.

    • Mentor and develop team members' skills and capabilities.

Qualifications

  • Education and Experience:

    • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field. Master's degree preferred.

    • 15+ years of experience in program management, with a focus on engineering programs.

    • Proven track record of successfully delivering large-scale, complex programs.

    • Experience with various program management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).

  • Skills and Knowledge:

    • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

    • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.

    • Proficient in project management tools and software.

    • Deep understanding of engineering principles and practices.

    • Knowledge of risk management and mitigation strategies.

  • Other:

    • PMP, PgMP & CSM certifications are a plus.

    • Experience in a SaaS company is highly desirable.

Compensation Package:

  • Base Salary Range: $200,000 - $240,000 USD Annual (12 Months)

  • Position eligible for QAD Bonus Package

  • Placement within our pay range will vary based on knowledge, skills, experience, and market location variations as well as internal peer equity
