Job Summary

As Principal Product Manager for Headsets, you will create and influence the entire product strategy of one of our customer verticals, from ideation and insights, to full product definition. You will be the voice of the customer, championing their needs and translating them into innovative product experiences. You will lead the product core team in setting the vision, fostering a culture of customer obsession and data-driven decision-making.

Responsibilities

  • Customer-Centric Vision: Develop and champion a compelling product vision and strategy for our headset portfolio, deeply rooted in a thorough understanding of our target audience, their needs, and their pain points. This includes conducting extensive user research, competitive analysis, and market trend analysis. You will live and breathe the customer journey, mapping every touchpoint and identifying opportunities for delight.

  • Strategic Roadmap Development: Define and maintain a prioritized product roadmap that aligns with the overall company strategy and delivers exceptional value to our customers. This includes defining clear product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.

  • Cross-Functional Leadership: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, marketing, sales, and operations, to ensure seamless execution of the product roadmap. You will be a master of influence, providing expertise and aligning teams around a shared vision and driving consensus.

  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Utilize data and analytics to inform product decisions, track performance, and identify areas for improvement. Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success and drive continuous optimization.

  • Market Analysis & Competitive Intelligence: Stay abreast of market trends, emerging technologies, and competitive offerings. Conduct thorough competitive analyses to identify opportunities for differentiation and innovation.

  • Product Evangelist: Serve as a passionate advocate for our B2B headset products, both internally and externally. Communicate the product vision and strategy effectively to stakeholders at all levels.

  • Team Leadership & Mentorship: Influence, Lead, and Mentor a high-performing product development team. Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and customer obsession.



Education & Experience

  • Dedicated to crafting exceptional audio that enhances everyday life

  • Demonstrated ability (and portfolio) of translating customer needs into unique and differentiated product solutions

  • 5+ years in enterprise audio (preferred) or connected consumer technology products.

  • 7-10 years of relevant work experience, preferably in product management, or software product development, or a related field

  • Four-year or Graduate Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.

  • Deep understanding of the customer journey and experience, with a demonstrated ability to translate customer needs into innovative product solutions.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use data to inform product decisions.

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams.



Impact & Scope
• Impacts function and leads and/or provides expertise to functional project teams and may participate in cross-functional initiatives.

Complexity
• Works on complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of multiple factors.

The base pay range for this role is $120,000 to $170,000 annually with additional opportunities for pay in the form of bonus and/or equity (applies to US candidates only).  Pay varies by work location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
