About Rad AI

At Rad AI, we’re on a mission to transform healthcare with artificial intelligence. Founded by a radiologist, our AI-driven solutions are revolutionizing radiology—saving time, reducing burnout, and improving patient care. By combining our deep expertise in healthcare and AI and using one of the largest proprietary radiology report datasets in the world, our AI has uncovered hundreds of new cancer diagnoses for patients and reduced the error rate in tens of millions of radiology reports by nearly 50%.

We’ve raised over $140M - including a recent $60M Series C financing round, valuing the company at $525M and led by Transformation Capital, with participation from existing investors including Khosla Ventures and others.

Our latest advancements in generative AI are used by thousands of radiologists daily, supporting more than 1/3 of radiology groups and healthcare systems and nearly 50% of all medical imaging in the U.S. Recognized as one of the most promising healthcare AI companies by both CB Insights and AuntMinnie, and by Deloitte as the 19th fastest-growing company in North America, we are building cutting-edge AI products that make a real impact. If you’re ready to shape the future of healthcare, we’d love to have you on our team!

Why Join Us:

We are seeking a Senior Product Designer to play a key role in shaping the user experience across Rad AI’s suite of AI-powered healthcare products. In this role, you will help drive initiatives that directly impact radiologists by creating intuitive, seamless, and elegant solutions tailored to their workflows. As part of a mission-driven team, your contributions will help reduce radiologist burnout, improve diagnostic accuracy, and ultimately enhance patient care. You’ll have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge AI-driven tools while collaborating with cross-functional teams in an environment that values user-centered design, rapid iteration, and design excellence. If you are passionate about applying your design expertise to solve meaningful problems in healthcare, we’d love to hear from you!

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Lead design efforts on key initiatives, with a primary focus on Rad AI’s Continuity products while supporting initiatives in Reporting.

  • Contribute to the creations, refinement, and scaling of Rad AI’s component library and design system, ensuring consistency and efficiency across products.

  • Collaborate closely with engineering to streamline the implementation of designs, remove bottlenecks, and enable faster deployment of features.

  • Conduct user research and usability testing to deeply understand the challenges radiologists face, ensuring that our solutions are grounded in real user needs.

  • Define and advocate for UX best practices, balancing user needs with business goals to create high-impact, user-friendly solutions.

  • Create intuitive, scalable, and accessible interactions that align with the needs of radiologists and healthcare professionals.

  • Work cross-functionally with product, engineering, and customer success teams to define product vision, strategy, and roadmaps.

Who We’re Looking For:

  • 6+ years of experience in product design, UX/UI design, or interaction design, with a strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in user-centered design.

  • Proven ability to lead complex design projects from ideation to execution, collaborating closely with product and engineering teams.

  • Strong background in designing for B2B SaaS or enterprise applications, ideally with data-heavy, workflow-based interfaces.

  • Deep experience with design systems and component libraries, including building, maintaining, and evolving scalable systems across multiple products.

  • Ability to conduct user research and usability testing, synthesize insights, and translate them into actionable design solutions.

  • Experience designing for highly technical users, such as radiologists, data scientists, or engineers.

  • Strong communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to present and advocate for design decisions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

  • Proficiency in Figma and design prototyping tools.

  • Experience working in fast-paced, Agile development environments.

Nice to haves:

  • Experience working in the healthcare industry, especially with clinical workflows or radiology tools.

  • Experience creating and scaling design systems at large organizations or across multiple product lines.

  • Familiarity with hardware and software integrations, particularly in medical or imaging technologies.

  • Background in motion design, prototyping, or front-end development to enhance interaction design.

  • Previous experience mentoring and guiding other designers in a team setting.
