We are seeking a Senior Principal Product Manager with deep knowledge and experience with highly regulated markets; financial services, industry verticals, and public sector regulations including at the Secret and Top Secret level. The successful candidate will have both product knowledge - building and delivering cloud services in these markets, but will have practitioner experience as well - working in, accrediting, and/or support supporting / operationalizing those services.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will work with our core engineering, platform, and regulated industries teams to help drive deep understanding of the needs of highly regulated customers. As part of that, you will help develop a roadmap to ensure that customers of all types can comfortably adopt Atlassian cloud services, to power their TEAM to new levels of efficiency and scale. As part of this, you will own a part of our platform security functionality, delivering product strategy, roadmap development, and supporting execution velocity.
Qualifications
In this role you will have:
10+ years experience working in product roles, with various years in regulated industries
Practical product knowledge of key security features and systems; identity, encryption, monitoring and analysis, scanning, and other key components
Practical product knowledge of security operations; risk modeling, threat analysis, incident response, and Gred / Blue teaming
Regulatory experience with delivering and security key industry compliance accreditations in particular those for the public sector (inside and outside the US). eg FedRAMP, Secret/Top Secret, C5, SecNumCloud, IRAP, etc
Strong cloud technology platform foundational knowledge
Demonstrable experience across the product lifecycle - strategy, roadmap planning, delivery, and monitoring / growth.
Compensation
At Atlassian, we strive to design equitable, explainable, and competitive compensation programs. To support this goal, the baseline of our range is higher than that of the typical market range, but in turn we expect to hire most candidates near this baseline. Base pay within the range is ultimately determined by a candidate's skills, expertise, or experience. In the United States, we have three geographic pay zones. For this role, our current base pay ranges for new hires in each zone are:
Zone A: $220,800 - $294,400
Zone B: $198,700 - $264,900
Zone C: $183,200 - $244,300
This role may also be eligible for benefits, bonuses, commissions, and equity.
