Position Overview

As the Senior Principal People Partner for Finance, Legal & IT, you will serve as the strategic HR advisor for the senior leaders within the corporate functions. In this role, you will spearhead strategic initiatives in collaboration with our Center of Expertise and local people partners. Your support will be pivotal for leaders and managers, fostering an environment where every individual can excel. By aligning our organizational and people strategies, you will play a crucial role in transformation projects, delivering high-impact HR services to your functional group.

 

Responsibilities

  • Strategize and scale initiatives, connecting the dots between our goals and the organizational guidance needed to achieve them.
  • Serve as a coach, partner, and confidant to managers and leaders within the organization.
  • Analyze people data and trends to inform strategic decisions and programs, ensuring the development of healthy, growth-ready organizations.
  • Collaborate with business leaders and HR specialist areas (e.g., Local People Partners, Total Rewards, Talent Acquisition, Learning and Development) to design, plan, and implement comprehensive HR programs, policies, and procedures.
  • Develop, implement, and measure the effectiveness of initiatives that enhance organizational and leadership capabilities.
  • Stay current with industry trends, practices, new developments, and applicable laws in human resources.
  • Lead change management initiatives.

Qualifications

  • 15+ years of experience as people partner supporting senior executives in a large complex global organization or comparably demanding environment with a proven track record of advancement, leadership and business success.
  • Experience partnering and influencing senior leaders to help drive their people strategy and increase business results
  • Strong analytical and project management skills, proven ability to design clear processes, and a very detail-oriented yet flexible approach to problem solving
  • Experience leading or being a key member of a large-scale HR transformation, preferred
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal
  • Proven ability to partner and influence across diverse groups and experience levels
  • Oracle HCM or similar HRIS system experience
  • Willing to travel to the N. Canton Ohio office, as needed
