ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking a Senior Power BI Developer to join our team. The successful candidate will have extensive experience in advanced Power BI semantic modeling, strong DAX skills, and a proven track record in dashboarding. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality BI solutions that support data-driven decision-making.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop and maintain advanced Power BI semantic models to support complex business requirements.

• Design, implement, and optimize DAX queries to create efficient and scalable data models.

• Create visually appealing and interactive dashboards that provide actionable insights to stakeholders.

• Collaborate with data engineers to integrate and transform data from various sources into Power BI.

• Ensure data accuracy and integrity across all Power BI reports and dashboards.

• Conduct performance tuning and optimization of Power BI solutions to enhance user experience.

• Participate in capacity planning and sizing of Power BI service components.

• Maintain and update documentation related to Power BI processes and configurations in line with Allianz Technology standards.

• Coordinate with stakeholders, including development, architecture, rollout, and operations teams, as well as customers, for releases, upgrades, and changes.

• Support service-related risk assessments and audits.

REQUIREMENTS

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in Power BI development and business intelligence.

• Expertise in advanced Power BI semantic modeling and DAX

• Proven experience in designing and developing interactive dashboards.

• Strong understanding of data visualization best practices and principles.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Advanced English proficiency is a must.

• Excellent communication skills with a high customer focus.

Nice to have:

• Experience with Microsoft Azure and Synapse is a plus.

• Familiarity with cloud architecture and software as a service (SaaS) concepts.
