Senior Partner Sales Manager - Cloud Service Providers

Your opportunity
This is an exciting opportunity to be a key player in expanding our reach by building a strong ecosystem of product partners that align with our company's vision to deliver Observability solutions. As a SR Partner Sales Manager, your primary focus will be engaging with and driving sales through strategic partnerships with leading Cloud Service Providers (CSPs), such as AWS and Azure. You will be instrumental in identifying, recruiting, and enabling these key partners to deliver significant value to our customers.


What you'll do

  • Build and nurture strong, collaborative relationships with partner stakeholders to drive sales growth.
  • Enable partners to effectively articulate the value proposition of the New Relic observability platform.
  • Drive user growth, consumption, and acquire new customers through these CSP partnerships.
  • Identify and qualify leads within the CPS partner network, working with them to nurture leads and drive sales opportunities. 
  • Actively participate in complex sales cycles with CSPs, providing sales expertise and support throughout the sales process to close deals. 
  • Develop and track key metrics to measure partner success and program efficiency.
  • Serve as a trusted resource and point of contact for CSP partners.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams including Sales, Customer Service/Technical, Services, Product, and Marketing to ensure partner alignment and success.
  • Lead partner enablement initiatives across various partner types within the New Relic ecosystem.
  • Develop and update playbooks for generating business with CSP partners, collaborating with customer success, partner engineering, operations, account executives, and partner marketing teams.
  • Collect and share partner success stories internally and externally within the partner ecosystem to further promote partnerships and successes.
  • Distribute partner enablement content to relevant pre- and post-sales teams.

This role requires

  • 7+ years of sales experience.
  • Proven experience in partner management and enablement with CSPs like AWS and Azure.
  • Strong understanding of the CSPs and its unique requirements.

Bonus points if you have

  • Experience working with cross-functional teams including Sales, Consulting Services, Customer Centric Teams, Marketing, and Business Units.
  • Experience managing and partnering with external consultants and third parties.
  • Experience in the Software and Services industry with a strong business acumen

The pay range below represents a reasonable estimate of the on target earnings (salary plus target sales incentives) for the listed position. This role is eligible for a commission plan (as defined in the sales incentive plan document) and a competitive equity package. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related factors such as an applicant’s skills, qualifications, and experience.

Estimated On-Target Earnings Range$234,000—$293,000 USD
