Senior Operations Program Manager

Hey there. I’m Bill Miksich, VP of Operations here at Customer.io I am seeking a dynamic and experienced Program Manager to join our Operations team. In this role, you will manage cross-functional projects, supporting the annual strategic planning process, and leading ad-hoc projects that enhance our technical operations and organizational effectiveness. This position is perfect for someone with a strong background in program management within a technical environment and who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced setting.

Some things you’ll do:

  • Lead and coordinate cross-functional projects across various teams, ensuring alignment with company objectives and timely delivery.
  • Support the annual strategic planning cadence by organizing planning sessions, tracking progress, and ensuring follow-through on key initiatives.
  • Drive the successful completion of ad-hoc projects that support technical operations and organizational enablement, adapting to changing priorities and requirements.
  • Develop and maintain project documentation, including timelines, resource plans, risk assessments, and status reports.
  • Partner with stakeholders across the organization to ensure project objectives are clearly defined and met, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

What we’re looking for:

  • 7-10 years of experience in program management, with a strong preference for experience in technical operations or related fields.
  • Proven track record of leading complex, cross-functional projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Experience with strategic planning processes and tools, as well as familiarity with project management software.

Compensation

We are offering a salary range of $125k-$145k (or equivalent in local currency) depending on experience and subject to market rate adjustment.
