Senior Operations Analyst (Process and Controls Team in Physical Security Organization)

Location:

The Process & Controls Senior Analyst will perform physical security functions that measure and improve effectiveness to ensure compliance with internal and regulatory requirements. To be dependable and competent in this role, it is essential to understand security principles, technical knowledge, and have excellent critical thinking skills. Physical Security Senior Analysts must possess effective communication, analytical and detailed skills, and able to effectively monitor and manage in a fast-paced and constantly changing environment. By having these qualities, Physical Security Senior Analysts supports the Physical Security Solutions team mission to provide initiative-taking and responsive programs focused on ensuring a safe and secure environment for employees, clients, and assets entrusted to KeyCorp.

Senior Analyst Responsibilities

• Risk Identification and Mitigation
• Third Party Management assignments
• Create and Provide Various Line of Business Analysis and Reporting
• Responsible for coaching and developing peers to ensure consistency and adherence to procedures, standards, and policies
• Maintain LOB Oversight
• Case Management
• Participate in Process Improvements
• Demonstrate Effective Partnering Across LOB in Support of Corporate & Retail Goals and Priorities.
• Effective Time Management and Utilization of Technology
• Attend and participate in meetings
• Personal Development

Qualifications:

Experience: 3+ years’ experience in Physical Security or similar operational/analyst role.

Education Requirements: BS/BA degree or equivalent work experience.

• Ability to effectively communicate and influence key stakeholders to support proposed strategies, process improvements and operational decisions
• Resourcefulness and ability to devise creative solutions to problems
• Experience testing and mapping various business processes and protocols
• Familiarity with industry technology systems to gather data and problem solve
• Ability to communicate directly and diplomatically, both in writing and verbally
• Effective listening skills
• Capable of building relationships with excellent interpersonal, facilitation, and negotiation skills used to navigate difficult conversations while coaching and developing peers with positive energy.
• Must possess the talent of situational critical thinking
• Proficient research & documentation skills
• Ability to multi-task and manage competing priorities
• Ability to understand and analyze business processes and problems of medium complexity, draw actionable conclusions, and make sound recommendations
• Understanding of budgets, schedules, risk identification, scope of work to maintain project efficiency

• Ability to work flexible schedule, might include work outside normal business days/hours

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

This position is eligible to earn a base salary in the range of $61,000.00 to $70,000.00 annually depending on location and job-related factors such as level of experience. Compensation for this role also includes eligibility for short-term incentive compensation and deferred incentive compensation subject to individual and company performance.
