Senior Multi-Cloud Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Multi-Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to join our Digital Modernization team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud infrastructure across multiple platforms, including Microsoft Azure and AWS. You will have an opportunity to work across multiple high-priority projects developing differentiated technical capabilities to solve our customers’ most complex challenges.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure components across Azure and AWS.
• Configure and deploy virtual machines, containers, and serverless applications on multiple cloud platforms.
• Implement and maintain networking services to ensure secure and efficient connectivity across clouds.
• Monitor and optimize cloud resources for performance, scalability, and cost efficiency.
• Implement cloud security best practices and compliance policies across multi-cloud environments.
• Collaborate with DevOps and development teams to automate deployment processes using CI/CD pipelines.
• Provide technical guidance and support to resolve infrastructure-related issues and incidents across multiple cloud platforms.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field and 12+ years of experience in IT infrastructure engineering. Additional years of relevant experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
• Proven experience (8+ years) as a cloud infrastructure engineer within a multi-cloud environment (Azure, AWS, strongly preferred).
• Strong understanding of cloud services and solutions across AWS and Azure.
• Experience in designing and implementing networking solutions across multi-cloud environments.
• Knowledge of cloud security best practices and experience implementing them in multi-cloud environments.
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with the ability to resolve complex infrastructure issues.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders.
• US citizenship is required and able to obtain security clearance as needed.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certifications in AWS and/or Azure.
• Experience with hybrid cloud and edge environments (e.g., Azure Arc, Azure Stack, AWS Outposts, AWS Snow Family).
• Familiarity with cloud-native data services
• Knowledge of infrastructure as code (IaC) principles and tools for managing multi-cloud environments.
• Experience working in cloud environments at different classification levels
