DESCRIPTION

The Marketing Operations team serves multiple functions within KeyBank’s Enterprise Marketing Department to enable the successful implementation of marketing programs for all of KeyBank’s lines of business and client segments. The Senior Marketing Operations Risk Coordinator position is an individual contributor role. This role includes the upkeep and maintenance of the Enterprise Marketing Operations procedures. This role is responsible for day-to-day hands-on procedure updates, risk monitoring, reporting and ensuring that marketing policies and procedures are in alignment with risk and compliance guidelines. All marketing materials are required to be adequately reviewed before going to market. This role exercises active judgement applied daily to the analysis and resolution of First line of defense, Risk, Audit, and content ownership. This role will work with different departments and lines of business regularly to identify and resolve a range of issues. The primary focus is risk mitigation, management, and preparedness for the department.
 

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Responsible for aiding in the development and execution of processes, tools, and documentation to support the Enterprise Marketing oversight of risks, controls, and programs.
  • Identify new opportunities for control and reporting enhancements for processes, procedures and tools Enterprise Marketing owns.
  • Work with the GRC tool and BRC teams for timely updates to documented controls, engagements, and findings.  Responsible for control testing, engagement verification and updates as well as finding remediation, testing and completion.
  • Consistently adheres to regulatory and compliance policies and standards linked to the role as listed and complete required compliance trainings.
  • Able to review and challenge findings, RCSA controls and risk rating results, in accordance with the Operational Risk Policies and guidelines.
  • Assist with maintaining internal policies and procedures including updating and drafting training materials as needed.
  • Effectively partner and establish trusted relationships with Compliance, Risk, BRC legal and business partners, as well as senior level management and others regarding corporate-wide compliance issues.
  • Supports regulatory requirements including project management which will include evaluation, updating, and documentation of all Enterprise Marketing procedure documents.
  • Processes documentation, coordinates and manages the organization of artifacts, and support for audit and risk management requests.
  • Responsible for record retention and record monitoring to support required compliance, audit, and risk management actions Execute newly requested reporting from requestors such as Compliance. Provide documentation for audits/Exams and other reviews as needed.
  • Follows established processes and thinks of new ways to do our work and manages risks effectively. Brings an innovation mindset to enhance overall team performance. Demonstrates consistent year-over-year improvements in performance.
  • Effectively collaborates and communicate with internal and external partners, including marketing, creative services, external agencies, product management, lines of business, risk, legal and compliance.
  • Actively participates in team sessions and in projects led by others.
  • Partner with other Project Coordination team members to ensure work is completed on time and within expectations.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s Degree required; 3 - 7 years professional experience in advertising agency, marketing project management or related fields.  Experience in financial services or equivalent, regulated industry experience. Experience with compliance and or risk management.

  • Knowledge of traditional and digital creative marketing development process, ensure content aligns with business objectives and is within brand and compliance standards.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

This position is eligible to earn a base salary in the range of $75,000 to $95,000 annually depending on job-related factors such as level of experience. Compensation for this role also includes eligibility for short-term incentive compensation and deferred incentive compensation subject to individual and company performance.
