What You’ll Do

As CoreWeave continues our global expansion with a significant footprint in Europe, we are seeking a Senior Manager of VAT & Statutory Reporting to join our Global Indirect Tax team. The CoreWeave Global Indirect Tax Team’s mission is to mitigate risk, drive operational efficiencies, and add financial value by combining technical expertise with a proactive, collaborative approach to global indirect taxation.  This role will be instrumental in establishing and maintaining robust VAT processes while ensuring compliance with evolving tax regulations across multiple European jurisdictions. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the end-to-end VAT compliance and reporting process across all European jurisdictions
  • Collaborate with third-party providers to ensure accurate and timely VAT filings
  • Develop and implement VAT policies, procedures, and controls to ensure compliance with local regulations
  • Partner with Procurement, Finance, and other stakeholders to integrate VAT considerations into business processes
  • Identify and manage VAT risks within our complex supply chain and procurement lifecycle
  • Conduct VAT reviews of significant contracts and transactions
  • Lead VAT audits and inquiries from tax authorities
  • Implement and optimize tax technology solutions to enhance VAT processes
  • Monitor legislative changes and assess their impact on the business
  • Provide guidance and training to business stakeholders on VAT-related matters

Who You Are:

  • 8-12 years of progressive experience in indirect tax roles, with emphasis on European VAT
  • Experience at a Big 4 accounting firm and/or multinational public company required
  • Demonstrated expertise managing complex VAT compliance processes across multiple European jurisdictions
  • Strong understanding of VAT implications in technology-focused businesses with complex supply chains
  • Track record of implementing process improvements and technology solutions for VAT compliance
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams and influencing stakeholders
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities
  • Advanced degree in Taxation, Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • Professional certification (CPA, ACCA, or equivalent) preferred

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $175,000 - $220,000. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location, and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
